When do you need to "bank" your points?

I am in the process of purchasing 150 points for BWV with an October use year. As I understand it, I will have 150 points from Oct 05, plus 150 on Oct. 1, 2006. Chances are, we won't go down to Disney before then. So, when do I need to bank them by to not loose them?, and will all this be written down somewhere when I get my paperwork?

For an October UY
100% by 3/31
50% by 6/30
25% by 7/31
0% after that

And yes it will be written down somewhere, it will be in your yearly planner, and on the member website.
