When do you kids go back to school?

I know it's different in lots of states, Here in NJ they go back after Labor Day.

It varies here. My son is in private school in Northern Virginia and he goes back on August 31st while most of the counties around us go back the day after Labor Day (my preference). Some of the counties in our neighboring state of Maryland go back the week prior to Labor Day. So it is a mixed bag around here.

College dd's move in day is Aug 20 and school starts the Mon the 23rd.

8th grader dd starts on Aug 17th.

In WI, my middle school daughter goes back August 30th. My high school daughter goes back Sept. 1.

Today I am going shopping for new backpacks, clothes, etc! ughhhh...summer goes by way too fast!!

I'm in NJ and my high schooler goes back on August 26th. Everyone else in my house goes back the Tuesday after Labor Day.

We always go back the Tuesday before Labor Day (and get Friday/Monday off) so this year is August 31st.

August 24 We never start on a Monday getting up at 6:15 (sigh) got up at 6:40 last year, but with DD starting K this year, she takes a lot longer to get ready!

South Ga here and we usually go back the first week of August. But they changed it this year and we don't go back until Sep. 8th ! Very excited to get another month this summer! Our football games actually start three weeks before school does.

Brevard county, Florida is August 9. That is the day we take the auto train for our move to Virginia. Not sure when they start school. But our intent to homeschool is due August 15...I think public schools start after that.

DS starts 1st grade on August 19th. I start college on August 18th.

The Wednesday before Labor Day, always. This year it is Sept. 1st, but most years it is in August.

DS18 goes to college on the 20th of August, classes start on the 23rd. The twins start the day after Labor Day by state law here.
