When do you get goosebumps?

First is when we see the information signs on I-4 showing the exit numbers and the miles to go. It really hits when we can see the actual Walt Disney World sign with the characters welcoming us back.

I get goosebumps when I'm standing in front of the castle and "When you wish upon a star" is playing.... Magical!

I would have to agree with those who have said once they walk through the train station and are on Main Street. That does it to me every single time! Makes me realize that I'm really there.

:sunny:

When me and my sister are standing infront of The Castle in MK, and everytime my sister whispers to me, "Can you feel the magic?"..we are a corney family, but it gets me everytime.
Or when i'm standing infront of the statue of Walt Disney and Mickey...that deff. gives me goosebumps!::MickeyMo

SInce we have only been once, I think it was the first time we went through the castle. Now it's when we watch wishes on our home movies. Even though we were 5 weeks ago.. Seems so much longer...knowing that today we received the MMVMCP tickets brought some joy to me. Can't wait.

LOL!!! Dittos for me! Actually, who can sleep the night before a WDW trip?!?

Lots of things give me goosebumps at the World, but the top two:

1. I hear "I hope you enjoy our story tonight ........Reflections of Earth." Then you hear a breath and all of the torches go out.

2. The lights go out and I hear "Welcome to Fantasmic"

Well it depends also where I am I have a few.

Of course when your under the train station and you see mainstreet and the castle welcoming you.

then during the fireworks after a long day and going through the turnstile!!! knowing that your back home and welcomed with opened arms.

 I LOVE IT!!

Another vote for seeing the Castle for the first time as you walk down Main Street!

I always feel like I'm walking in a dream because there are usually lots of people hurrying down the street to their favorite attractions and I am just walking slowly, soaking up that feeling. It's the one time in Disneyland (or MK) where I deliberately slow myself down because I don't want to miss that great site.

I also love how the DL railroad enters the Main Street station, perfectly timed, as soon as they open the gates! I say to myself, "Only Disney does it this good!" ;)

Thanks for a great thread!:flower:

When we board the "mini-monorail" at MCO. Our entire vacation is in front of us. There is so much there to experience.

i agree about the mini monorail at mco. thats just the begining 0f the "goosebumps" as you feel so good inside that your whole vacation is ahead of you with so many memories to be made. i tear up going into the mk and especially watching spectro magic and the fireworks, haven't seen wishes yet but we're looking forward to it this july. another favorite of ours is circling the park and passing thru the resorts on the mono rail, this is a tradition of ours every time we go. geez i'm so excited now i can hardly wait to go.
