When do they ask for your Disney Visa Card?

This might sound strange..... I don't have Disney Visa but I want to know if there is a way the discount will work out for me (for when it's available to the public). I'm going 1/14-1/21 so the last 3 days are black-out. I was wondering if I could call and act like I wanted to use the Disney Visa discount just to see if there was any way possible and what it would cost. If they don't ask for the number until the end I could make an excuse as to why I can't book right now.

I am sorry I really don't know the answer to your question. My suggestion, apply for the card. You get 0% for 6 months on all Disney purchases, even Disney shopping and DVD club.

using the code requires you to put at least a deposit down, and you need your card to do that...I just booked a Disney cruise and go on board spending $$ if I used the Disney Visa. Obviously had to give them my card info to book the cruise.

Yes, I completely understand you have to have the card to book the discount. I don't want to book right now, just want to know if I'll be able to use the discount when the offer becomes available to the public since my last 3 days ore in black-out.

Honestly, I don't want the Disney Visa for several reason. I used to have a Chase Visa Card and had an issue w/ one of my statements and the customer service was very rude, even the manager. My issue was never resolved so we canceled the card. Also, we're paying up front for the vacation, we have no need for the 6 months interest free. Lastly, I don't want yet another credit card to worry about. Now if it was going to save me something like $600 I would get it but since it's questionable whether I would be able to use the discount I don't think I want to sign up for another card.
