When do the Holiday decorations go up?

When do the Christmas/Holiday decorations go up? We are thinking of going to WDW again at the beginning of December and want to make sure we will get to see everything.

If you go the begining of Dec you will see them all up I do believe they start them in mid Nov IIRC.

We noticed while wandering around MGM Monday that they already have a good portion of the Osborne Festival of Lights fixtures up and I didn't recall seeming them in July or May so I don't think they are there year round.

We were in the magic kingdom two days before Thanksgiving in 2003 and they were up on mainstreet. They had not been up when we were there three days earlier. We were at the GF the weekend before Thanksgiving and they had their tree up and the gingerbread house in the lobby. DTD was also decorated and playing holiday music.

last year we saw some christmas decoations at resorts as early as nov 7.
