When do the Christmas decs go up?

Can anyone tell me when the resorts put their Christmas decorations up please

The order every year is determined by a lottery, so you can't really say when they start. But they are all up by the Saturday of Thanksgiving Weekend.

Oh damn. We are departing 22nd November (not until 2016 though ). We are staying at the GF and would looovvveeeee to see the famous gingerbread house along with the other decorations.

Would the decs be up in the parks? As MVMCP starts earlier on in Nov.

Yes, the parks will be decorated. And you may very well see the Gingerbread house. Or you may at least be able to see them building it as it takes a while.

Ah brilliant. We have seen the parks decorated as we went December 2012 for our honeymoon.

Fingers crossed we might see them building the gingerbread house at least.

Here is what mousesavers has to say:
Christmas decorations at the Walt Disney World Resort usually begin going up around the first of November. The decorations are gradually added at night and are substantially complete at Magic Kingdom by the time of the first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party (in 2015, that will be November 8), with the resorts and other parks completed by the day after Thanksgiving. The decorations usually start coming down about January 3.
Based on WDWMAGIC, last year it was completed and open the Monday before Thanksgiving on November 24th.
