When do Magical Express tags arrive?

We leave in 11 days, and have yet to receive Magical Express tags. I got an email confirming our Magical Express reservation on Feb 16th, and the email said a confirmation letter and tags would be mailed to our home address. But I haven't gotten anything. I checked that the address is correct.
Should I give them a call or do they normally not show up until closer to departure? Thanks.

Call them! I booked our trip 28 days in advance and we got our MBs before 14 days out, then I got luggage tags, then I got worried about the ME tags. I called them and they showed up the next day, 11 days from our trip. The next day I got a second DME info booklet & coupon packet that had been overnighted (no 2nd set of luggage tags). So clearly mine had already been in the mail, but since I had called they sent me another..booklet at least...IDK.

Moral of the story, call them

I was told they are running behind on getting the Magical Express tags out. I leave March 8th and haven't received mine yet, although I received my MB's and luggage tags.

We leave March 9th and have had our tags for about 3 weeks now... I would definitely call and see what's going on.

We did'nt get luggage tags with our Magic Bands. I had heard it was because we didn't have a package. (Room only, military salute tickets.)

You won't get the Disney luggage tags but if you are taking advantage of using the magic express, you should get a confirmation letter and bright yellow tags/stickers (like the ones airlines use) to put on your luggage.

You got your actually yellow ME tags?? That IS crazy because it would be so easy to misplace! Or did you just get the hard luggage tags where you can write name/address/etc

Yep, the actual yellow tags. I even asked our TA about it. We must have been an anomaly. I will not be surprised if we lose them in the next 6 months.

I think it depends much more on when you send your flight info in, not the date of your trip. This might be because we're international travellers, but we always get our flight info entered as soon as possible, and we expect the yellow luggage tags within a week or so of sending the info. If we don't get them by then, we call and have them resent. If you've sent your flight info and haven't received tags, I would definitely be contacting right away.

I think you may be right. We had our flights booked prior to making the reservation.

I don't have mine either. We check in on March 9th. For us it's not a big deal really, our flight comes in after 10pm so we don't need the luggage tags but it's always fun to get that envelope in the mail. Usually, I get the envelope about 2 weeks after I book DME. So this has been a surprise.

That must be an international thing because I have had my domestic flight info in for a while for my August trip and no tags. Granted I don't believe in checking bags, so it's no big deal if I don't get them. But not getting the booklet with them would mean having to stop at the desk. (And while I would never bypass the resort check-in desk, I'm 100% cool with skipping the DME desk.)

Really, the worst thing that happens if you request the tags more than once is you get more than one set. They all have the same info on them, and all work. I don't think it's a big deal to request more if anyone's nervous.

I did the same thing - 30 minutes on hold. They told me they were mailed. Silly me worrying too much, they were in our mailbox that afternoon.

The yellow tags arrived eight days before our flight. They know what they're doing!

If ever the tags don't arrive, just give the luggage claim receipt to the nice person at the Magical Express counter. Someone will claim your luggage and it will magically appear in your hotel room. We did that one year, yes it worked fine.

You don't get a many page book any more. Just a single sheet of paper with instructions and airport map. They scan your magic band, so cool!
