When do Magic Bands ship? ARe old MBs good?

We are about 26 days out. No sign of magic bands yet (on the MDE site it says will ship at any moment). We have customized bands for some time now.

When do MBs ship? Do I need to call someone and if so whom?


Our itinerary has us going straight to hotels.

Also, we have MBs from a year ago. We did not do anything to link these old MBs to park tickets. Are they automatically linked?

They should ship any day now.

Also, we have MBs from a year ago. We did not do anything to link these old MBs to park tickets. Are they automatically linked?

MagicBands are not linked to tickets, they (along with tickets, room reservations, etc.) are linked to MDE profiles. As long as the MagicBand is linked to your MDE profile and is not flagged as 'Inactive', it and any other MagicBand linked to your MDE profile can be used interchangeably.

We are leaving in 13 days and our MDE still says "Your MagicBand is shipping soon". I spoke with someone this morning and I think he fixed it, I'll be checking 1st thing in the morning, fingers crossed.

recently its been the 22 day mark when they ship out
some people have had issues with a hold being placed on them if 22 day mark as passed an no change call magic band assistance # (407) 939-5277 (direct number) and see if a block has been set on yours, if so they will remove it and expedite your bands

We're 25 days. Ours shipped two days ago, and should get them by Thursday. Yes, you can use previous MBs. Don't worry though, you'll get your new ones! See ya there! We'll be easy to recognize, we'll have big smiles on!
