When do lockers open?

We like to be within the gates about 45 minutes prior to park open. I figured this would be a good time to store our winter gear while we are waiting. Will the Magic Kingdom lockers be open at this time or do they open at official park opening?

It looks like the lockers are before you go through the tunnel into Town Square, so I would imagine they are open when that area is open. but I could be wrong...just my thought

Well, to get to the lockers, you have to be through the gate, so you will have to wait for them to let people through the gates. Not sure exactly when that happens!

At least in our experience, they let people through the turnstiles a decent amount before park opening. They hold the ropes at the tunnels. Then at Rope Drop (park opening), the CMs start walking the ropes back. Since the lockers are in the area b/w the turnstiles and the ropes, I would tend to think they'd be open when people are allowed into that area.

I have the same question as OP. Does anyone have experience accessing the lockers before rope drop?
