when do jet blue rates come out

just wondering if anyone knows how far in advance jet blue rates come out, i keep checking for july 07 but no luck yet. thanks

Right now JetBlue only have prices listed through April. So it looks like they only go about 6 months ahead. I am also curious about their rates for July.

I don't know what is going on but I booked our May 06 trip in Oct 05. I'm waiting for june 07

i know what u mean, i booked our july 06 trip in october last year, delta rates are out already not that bad, but im waiting to see if jet blue will be lower than theirs. i guess we just gotta keep waiting

Delta rates/dates/schedules are out because like the other legacy airlines, they release fares 331 days in advance. However, while the fares may fluctuate between the release date and the flight date, the schedules almost certainly will change. Just see the complaint threads about Delta, Northwest, etc, changing/cancelling passengers' flights.

Discount airlines like Southwest, JetBlue, Airtran, release dates and fares on a much more limited basis BUT they're pretty certain of the actual schedules (which, I think some of the experts here indicate, are generally finalized three or four months in advance).

Also keep in mind, fuel prices soared over the last six months or so; even with fuel contracts, I wouldn't be surprised if the discount airlines were being a little more cautious before determining fares.

Very good points kaytieeldr - I'd rather wait for fares and have alot less chance of changes.
Now that you mention it, when we flew Delta last year, departure changed 3x and return flight 2x for total difference of about 4 hours time!!

The fuel prices factor is what is making me itchy to book though - I'm happy with the prices now and praying they don't jump much before posted.
