When do Holiday Decorations go up?

Do they hold out until after Thanksgiving for the holiday trimmings?

Trying to plan a 2005 trip (sooo far away) and can't decide on the date?

Another question - if you're at WDW in early December how likely is it that swimming is going to be fun or even possible? My kids love the pools so much I hate to lose that part of the trip.

Usually the middle of Nov they start putting them up and they are complete for the last week of Nov as MVMCP start around that time.

We have gone frequently during the first or second week in December. The weather is unpredictable...everything to using our winter jackets we wore down from NJ, to short sleeves!!!

Thinking about it, we rarely use the pools in December. (or February!)

with the decorations the week before the weekend before Thanksgiving. They are all up by Thanksgiving for sure.

We went the first week of December 2 years ago and swam every day. We went last year mid-November and it was too cool to swim. You can never tell in Central Florida, anytime of the year!

I do know that the pools are heated. At least that is what the cm told me. I know how you feel, I want to go swimming as well. But it I will not be that hurt if it is cool jacket weather and we get to have hot choc. while walking around DW.
