If we have used up the 10 days of park entrances on our tix, but not the 6 fun options, do we still have the whole 14 days to use the rest of the water park/ DQ options .

Do you mean that you got a 10-day ticket with options and you went to the parks 10 days already? Then no you can't use them again. It's the days that you use them that count. If you didn't take advantage of the options the days you used them that's it.

The options are to be used on the same day.

I read here, a while back, that if you only use a waterpark/DQ option on a day and did not use your ticket to enter a theme park on that same day, then no "day" was subtracted from your ticket. I will be at WDW for 11 full days with a 10 day PHP ticket. So, I am asking if I use waterpark/DQ option one day without entering a theme park on that same day, is my ticket "charged" for a days use or does it simply get charged for the use of an option.

No the fun options don't count as days. They have to be used within 14 days on an expiring ticket but if you had a 14 day vacation you could go to parks on 10 days and spend 4 days doing the water parks and more.

If the first thing you do is go into a water park, you tick off one water park fun (plus) admission but you have not ticked off a "day". Then, if you visit a theme park later that same day you tick off a "day". Then if you go to Pleasure Island that same evening you tick off a second water park admission.

Tickets expire 14 days from first use be it a water park or amuesment park. We bought 10 plus ticket and that gives us 10 day amusement and 6 Plus options. That gives us a total of 16 days of tickets. You can go to a water park and one of the big 4 the same day, but you do not have to. I prefer to keep the water park as a separate day to make our tickets stretch longer.

If your ticket expires, the options expire with it. If your ticket does not expire, then the options, even if you have no park days left, do not expire. We just used a Plus/option from a ticket purchased a couple of years ago to go to a water park on a day we did not go to a theme park.

Think of the park days and the Pluses as separate things - they are handled differently.

Park days - each day you enter a park, you use up a park day from your ticket. If you have a Hopper, you can enter as many of the 4 parks as you like and only use 1 day of the park days. If you do not have a Hopper, you can only go to one park per day - you cannot use 2 park-days from your ticket to go to 2 different parks on teh same day.

Plus/Options - You have a certain number of these on your ticket if you purchased this option. They are good at PI, BB, TL, DQ, and Wide World of Sports. If you go to BB in the morning, DQ in the afternoon, and PI at night all in one day, you will use 3 of your options. If you spend the morning at MK and the afternoon at BB, you will use one park day and one Plus/option.

Hope that helps! :)

Thanks everyone for the info. Looks like we will have a "bonus" day as long as we just do waterpark/DQ/PI things one day.
