When do crowds die down on Sat/ Sun nights?

This varies tremendously at DL. The nighttime entertainment offerings factor in tremendously, as does the weather! On the most crowded days, it can stay crowded quite late because people are trying to get their money's worth after not being able to do much all day.

When something like fireworks or a parade is happening, you'll see a big dip after that. Otherwise, it just depends. Certainly somewhere between 8-10, you'll see a lot of people exiting the park.

At DCA, they usually close earlier, so you don't see that much of a drop-off until WOC starts, which is sometimes after the park officially closes!

Considering there have been no fireworks in the evenings, even on weekends right now due to the main street construction - I wonder what the crowds at night are like and if anyone has seen this affecting people staying later.

A few weeks ago, it was a ghost town on Sunday night. It was really cold—to the point where guests were walking around in blankets they purchased in the gift shops. No fireworks, no parade and by 10 almost everything was a walk on.

Saturday nights don't usually get to ghost town status. They thin out some, but there are still lines. On Sundays, I would say around 10 pm things start to noticeably thin out and crowds continue to decrease until closing.
