When do cash holds go back to DVC Members?

Does anyone know about when cash holds go back to DVC members? I know they hold rooms to sell for cash and of course the week I need a studio, I can't get as a member but I can pay $2,107 for the week for. If those rooms do not sell as cash reservations, do they eventually get opened to members?

Never. Members only have access to the inventory that members own. Once something has been traded out, it's gone.

However, the member website does seem to imply that cash inventory might be able to be pulled back for reservations within 10 days.

It depends on why the cash room was made available.

If it was due to it being un-reserved at 60 days from check-in, MS can ask CRO to release the room.

If the room was made available for cash because a member used their points for a reservation other than a DCV resort or World Collection (RCI, Buena Vista Trading Co) reservation, never.
