Hi I'm Tom and this is my first TR. You can usually find me on the Teen Boards but I read TR's all the time.

This has been a very anticipated trip to WDW since we were supposed to be going in December but we had to cancel because I mad varsity basketball and I would feel bad since I just made varsity and I was going to miss a week of practice because I was on vacation. So we decided to go down in the Summer because we will be able to go down without any coaches complaining. And since we started talking about going with my uncle he decided to bring his family along.

So the cast is

My Mom(DM)-(Age=?)been a Disney fan her whole life and been there over 20 times but we will call her Minnie

Mt Dad(DF)-(Age=?)been to Disney about 15 times and we will call him Mickey

My Sister(DS)-(Age=18)huge Disney fan and Pluto fan and been to Disney 11-13 times and we will call her Pluto

Me-(Age=16)Biggest Disney fan in the family and Goofy fan and been to Disney 10-12 times and we will call me Goofy

My brother(DB)-(Age=3) He maybe 3 but he loves old Disney shows and new ones and been to Disney 3 timesand acts like he is my age and we will call him Max

My uncle(DU)-(Age=?) Hasn't been to Disney in 25 years and is my dad's brother call him Donald

My Aunt(DA)-(Age=?) Hasn't been to Disney since she was 5 and we will calle her Daisy

My Cousin(DC)-(Age=1 but turning 2 a week after we went) doesn't really know anything Disney

I just found a pic of the kids last year on the 4th of July.

Day 1-Airplane and Downtown Disney

So the first day wasn't much really. We woke up early. I actually never woke up because I was too excited, just like that Disney Commercial. So we packed up in the car and got to the airport while Mickey dropped us off and he went to go park the car. We got McDonalds to bring on the airplane and then we took off. The flight pretty much consisted of me and Pluto rocking out listening to our MP3s. We landed and and got on Magical Express to POR.

Once we got to the hotel we brought all of the carry-ons to are room, it was more like I brought all the carry-ons...well you get the point. While I was doing that my mom bought food and got us re-fillable mugs. Once we were done with that we left on the boat to go to Downtown Disney. The guys were pretty much outside because Max wanted to go on the little train ride and carousel. When we had enough we left the girls there and we went back to the hotel. While on the way back it started to rain and we were told that if it started to thunder and lightning we would have to dock at the nearest dock. While we weren't stopped but the girls were. We met up with Donald, Daisy and the baby and went to the pool.

What!?!?! Being on the DIS so much made me forget that not every teen my age loves Disney.

Day 2-EPCOT Part 1
So Since I was so tired from not sleeping the day before I woke up late this day, which is 8:00 when at Disney. We called up Donald at 8:15 to tell them that we will be in the cafeteria at 9. And then we got ready. So finally we did are usual check of bags and then put them in the carriage and we were off, so we thought. We had to wait an extra 10 minutes when we were at the cafeteria because Donald and them weren't ready, but since it was there first time we gave them a break, but this was there first and last time we waited for them. So finally we were off. We waited for a bus for like 10-15 minutes which is annoying for us because it was hot and we are also used to going when there is usually nobody there in October. So now finally we get into EPCOT and me and Pluto have to speed walk over to The Land to get fastpasses for Soarin! while they walk at a turtle pace speed over to The Seas. So we finally meet and we go on the clam mobile, this ended up being Max and the baby's favorite ride, and place.

Max and the baby

When we were done with The Seas we went over to The Land and we split up into 2 groups guys and girls to ride on Soarin!, one will ride the others eat and watch Max and the baby. So girls go first to ride so guys got food and about 45 minutes later the girls get back, so now the guys go on Soarin we must have waited about 15 minutes and get on. So I am guessing the girls just wanted us to watch the kids so they took their time.

Sorry We Didn't Take Pics of the Kids Playing(It was really funny and cute at the same time.)

So now we are off to Imagination. Max loves Figment because we bought a stuffed animal about 2 years ago. And after that we went outside where they have the jumping water and we had a lot of fun there.

At the start of Imagination
100_0438-1-1.jpg

As you can see we had a lot of fun!!!
100_0439.jpg

We have a lot more of pics of us there.

EPCOT-Part 2
So now we were done with Futureworld and we were off for World Showcase...we started off to the right by Canada so we can check the times for Off Kilter we saw the times and then we were off for England. We saw that the World Showcase players were going to be doing King Arthur and The Holy Grail, so we had to stop and watch because this is my favorite show and I had to see them once. The one cool part about it is that you will always see the same people doing it too. Well they have a rotation but when you have seen it as many times as me you remember there all there faces.

Greatest Show Ever!!!

So now we were off to France because we were going to get something to eat and it was about to start raining and we would could eat the food while waiting in the room to see the France show...but the best part was the AC!!!!!! So now we were down watching the France Movie and we were off to Japan. Morackan(sp?) was playing when we were walking by, So we get to Japan and Max and the baby wanted to see the fish but it was mostly that they wanted to start running around while the Girls Shop!!!(I am so surprised.lol) Well we waited so long that we actually got to watch the full thing of the Japanese drummers. I enjoyed it because I play the Drums, well not like them but an actual set. Well the girls finally finished and then we were off to The American Adveture, on the way there my dad bought me a funnel cake with ice cream( we got some looks because the ice cream looks like a big thing of butter). Well nobody wanted the Ice Cream so I had to eat it by myself while everyone else ate MY!!!! Funnel Cake.lol. We watched the show and then when we got outside the Bee Gee's Cover band(I think it was Bee Gee's, I know it was the band who did Saturday Night Fever) started playing...I really don't care for the Bee Gee's music so Pluto and me went inside the Counter Service to eat which would be are usual meal of Burgers, Chicken Tenders, and Fries. And finally pics.

100_0449.jpg

So it was about to start raining and we needed to hear Off Kilter at least once today so we ran all the way down back to Canada. We found a spot underneath an umbrella. Now they are also one of the highlights of every trip we have had down to Disney since I was 4 or 5. We were so happy they played because the rain started getting bad and they were funny enough to say to joke around that they were the only performers to play during the rain. But the comic relief(Jamie) wasn't there and also Tony(Keyboardist).
We watched 2 of their shows because we love them and there was also no way we were going to get wetby the rain. Nad in between breakes we heard them trying to play "The Devil Went Down To Georgia" so if you are ever down there and the fiddle guy is there, you might have a chance to hear it.

100_0455.jpg

After that we went back to our rooms after a very hot and tiring day.

Hey KidGoofy you're not the only teenager who's a Disney fan. My DS will be 16 in October and he's a Disney nut too. He's been about 14 times. We love Off Kilter too. Never seen them missing Jaime and Tony. We've only seen them with one person missing.
DS doesn't play regular drums like you but he plays steel drums and of course Rock Band drums.

Yeah usually we only have one missing, like Mark or Tony, but it was a first for Jamie. And thats very cool that he plays steel drums, I have always wanted to try, and I think every teenage boy has played Rock Band drums. And thanks for joining.

Great start! I love the pictures. :DD
And I was there the same time as you. Expect I was there the 13th-23th. :P

Thought I would join in also. Wish we had taken the time to hear more of Off Kilter while we were there. I thought DH would love them, but he was tired and trying to get back to the hotel. Maybe next time.

Oh, we were there some of the same days, 13-21 and also at POR.

Yes...I have never met a person who didn't like them. Usually we go during Food and Wine Festival and all we all my parents, uncles and aunts would do is get food and beer from the places they like and then watch there shows. And since they have 30 minute breaks they would get more.

:goodvibes haha, I have to do that exact same thing, run and get the fast passes for everyone. Except last time I had to go get the Fast passes for Toy Story Mania and there was a Huge line! I'm so tormented. lol

Great trip report!! you know, I never saw the Holy Grail show for the longest time, excpet one time.. everyone in my party was shopping, and I had already seen everything in the shops so i happen to catch it going on, and I loved it! it's sad though because it is easily missed.

Love the pictures ;) !! CAn't wait to read more!

Day 3- Magic Kingdom

So the night before we decided to go to Magic Kingdom because we always remembered how it was usually crowded when ever we go on Saturday- Monday. So now we were off. We waited for about 2-3 buses and we finally got on. Once we get their we Max and the baby finally became quiet because they felt the "Disney Magic" from the Magic Kingdom. We get in and do the usual thing where we enter from the right, and while going under the tunnel we got the many maps and park schedules. And we were off to Adventureland. We sent my sister to get Jungle Cruise Fastpasses because whenever we go we usually have to wait on the extremely long line, and we were supposed to go to POTC but we saw the Magic Carpets and rode those instead. So once we were done with the Carpets we went on POTC, which is one of Max's favorite rides because he loves the movies and that catchy tune. He actually sing that song whenever he gets his hands on the steering wheel that was in a park very close to us. After POTC we went in the Tiki Room because we had 10 minutes to waste until Jungle Cruise fast passes were ready. It was actually a big hit with the kids. And finally Jungle Cruise. We had the funniest captain yet. She did all of the old corny jokes and even added some new ones. Jungle Cruise is one of my favorites, just because of those jokes.
100_0457.jpg

We were ready to get up
100_0458.jpg

You cant see Max because he is too short
100_0464.jpg

That part still fools me. Even though I have ridden it over 20 times.

We were getting hungry so we went to Colombia Harbor House where I got my usual Chicken Tenders. After we went on Haunted Mansion, and the improvements were very cool. After that we decided to ride Splash Mountain. We saw the time for it and decided not to ride it and ride BTMR instead. The line wasn't very long but it was very crammed and hot.

100_0471.jpg

The usual pics you get
100_0474.jpg

And another
(Sorry I didn't get any other pics from Frontierland.)

We then went on the train and rode it all the way around onece and then got off at Toontown. This is where Max and the baby had the most fun. We went into Minnie's House and they started playing. It was pretty crammed but everyone inside was fun.

100_0476.jpg

100_0477.jpg

We then went into Mickey's place and and looked around and we decided to get a pic with Mickey.

Donald, Daisy and the baby

Finally we get to Goofy's Barnstormer and Max was so excited because he always wanted to ride a rollercoaster but he was always too small.

100_0492.jpg

Before the screaming started
100_0494.jpg

Screaming stopped and I want to do that again started

We let him ride it one more time with my sis. Once we were done with Toontown we went to Fantasyland. We went on the Teacups and Max enjoyed it a lot. We then went on IASW an again they enjoyed it. Everyone was starting to get very tired but I forced everyone to go on Philhamagic but my mom and sis didn't want the kids to go on so they went on the carousel with them. So while everyone else was watching Philharmagic they were taking pictures.

Toy Story Mania had a long wait too, even with Fastpasses for us. And how can you not watch King Arthur and the Holy Grail, it is a must watch everytime I go.
