When did your kids start buying their own tickets?

My youngest daughter asked me to go on the trip with her so we are splitting it. She is in a position where she can afford it. She lives with me, as does her daughter and does not pay any rent. I also babysit for her when she works. I work overnights so I can be home with her daughter all day. She has a car payment and other than that is debt free. Everyone's situation is different. If I invited my kids on a family vacation I would not expect them to pay.
