We joined in May of 2000. We are using our points for the 1st time on the DIsney Magic on 7/28! inkbounc

We joined in October of 1999. Decided almost on the spot after their short presentation and no pressure sales pitch. (Actually, it was not even really a sales pitch.) Used our first points last March at DisneyLand's Grand California Hotel. First stay at a DVC resort will be next month at Vero Beach and BWV. Can hardly wait. Oh yeah we included a cruise on the Wonder as well. The points really do go far!

Back in 95 when we got free tickets to the parks, when our room was ready when we arrived, when there was pre-registration, when there was check in area for members, when we were extremely happy with our purchase. Using hind-sight I would say we got a great deal because of the free tickets to the parks. I don't beleive the same for people who are making purchases at this time however. WDW has changed too much and will continue to move toward being an amusement park rather than a family place with attractions for all members of the family. My favorite thing to do now will be just to get out of the cold weather for a few weeks every year. For that reason I am still happy with my purchase but not because of anything WDW has done.

We joined in sept-99, bought 230 then(OKW) then added on 70 more there, for 300 total. We will be adding 110 more to VB very shortly.

We signed the papers on Sunday! We're not official yet as our closing isn't scheduled until some time in January but I figure since our dues are pro-rated from the day we signed, we're official enough for me! I voted in the 2001 column.

We joined DVC (OKW) in 1995 and purchased an additional 100 Pts. in 1997. (480 Pts total) No regrets, we love OKW and DVC! Our son & DW became members at BWV in 1999.
