When did SW release their new dates thru March?

Just wondering...I see that 9/23 was the day, but around what time were the dates released. I have to plan for the next go-round.
Also, how quickly did the Saturday flights for school vacation week fill up? Was anyone here able to book Saturday through Saturday? Just wondering how long the window stays open to book these prime flights. Thanks.

I looked for president's week flights within a day or two, and they were already long gone.

I think they went up last Thurday morning.

Don't give up hope, they might still go on sale. I've booked the sat after Thanksgiving and that has gone on sale a few times already.

It was Thursday, but not first thing. I started checking at 7:30 a.m. and they hadn't changed. Later in the morning I found out on this board that they had opened up to March 3rd.

I was sometime between 10am and 12pm est. However, the last time they opened up the schedule, it was much earlier in the morning.

Thanks. Did anyone book the Saturday thru Saturday flights during school break (or Sun thru Sun) and if so, how quickly after the dates became available did you book for and what price category? I see from a poster above that two days later everything was gone.

I booked Sat-Sat. I have a RR ticket, but booked for my friend and it was $347!!! I noticed the schedule open about 11:00 a.m. and shortly afterwards, the first non-stop in the a.m. was sold out. Those non-stops go quickly.

The Feb vacation weekend flights I have never seen discounted (from BDL) From the time the schedule opens until the departure date, they have always been either full fare or close to it. This was true last year and this this year, so far. And since they sell out at those amounts, it's not furprising SWA does it that way. With a little flexibility though (Flying Mon-Mon) you can get some savings. The flights opened up between 11 and 12 as best I recall (because I was checking almost every hour) There does not seem to be a specific time of day. Sometimes I log on the morning to see that the schedule is open. Sometimes it's happens a few hours later.

What dates are you looking for?

Last year, the next segment, which goes from early MArch to early April, opened 10/18 - the year before 10/20. At least that give you an idea of when to start watching.

My dates are April 16-23, Saturday flights. I have never done this before, so any tips from SW experts is appreciated!
DisneyHumbug, were the nonstops sold out within minutes?? Hours? Did you book you flights online or via phone?

I had to book via phone since I had one RR ticket and paid for one. I don't think it was within minutes, but the first non-stop of the day was sold out within hours. Now I see most of the non-stops are also sold out, and the prices haven't budged. Good luck.
