Down -4.5 this week. Yeah, lost the 2 I gained last week and then lost an additional 2.5 lbs. So far so good, have lost a total of 11 lbs since I started. I have got to say thank you to you all for keeping me accountable for my actions. If it was not for this board then I would have for sure fallen off the 'raft' by now.
I think my son is finally going to get onboard with trying to be healthier and losing weight.

I spoke with him last night again about starting to count his points and I did not get the same reaction that I have gotten before, utter disgust that I even spoke with him about it (he is 15 and knows it all). I think that since I have been counting and he has seen that I have not been completely starving or depriving myself of foods that he is hopefully thinking that it is not going to be that bad after all. Heck, because he is a teenage boy he gets 44 points per day, which is a lot of points. Plus he also understands now that if he works hard at tennis or other exercise that he can earn additional points. I will just need to get him to understand that just because he has earned the extra points does not mean he needs to eat them. And he really needs to learn to eat better, exercise, and lose some weight because he is really starting down the wrong path of being really overweight. Now just keeping my fingers crossed that he will stick with it without too much complaining.
