I am Colts fan all the way...but can't always watch the whole game because they can make me crazy :crazy2: when they are playing. So I have to take a break to calm down and then go back to watching. :cheer2:

Tracking for today:
Deep fried crow

Really - I have not tracked much the last couple days. I had a big Mickey cake made for me yesterday and ate a large piece of that!
Okay - I am a big hockey fan too - I am from Minnesota after all!
But the Wild haven't given us much to get excited about the last couple years.
Right now it's all about the Twins!! We are excited about a new ball park and the very likely possibility of the playoffs. We have partial season tickets, so have been enjoying quite a few games.

Today:
B: mini bagel w/pb and nutella
Chai latte, fruit, mini caramel roll
L: Pasta salad, green salad and a turkey wrap w/ lettuce/tomato; Diet coke
I was at a meeting and they brought in lunch
S: two cookies
D: hot dog, corn on the cob, 1/2 ice cream cone (DD9's leftovers)

Olay, some BAD snacks today, but I stayed within my points so I'm not sweatin' it. I don't do brownies often and that one was well worth it. The starbursts were more of a splurge moment. DD offered them and I jumped on them..

Sports – I’m not a huge fan of most sports, but I’ll wish the 49ers win if I know they are playing. Jim got me interested in Hockey and we love going to the Sharks games but I don’t follow the players. So from me the most you get it “Go Niners” and “Go Sharks”!

Barb – see above – niners!! I hope you get good news about the cat. I know it would be heartbreaking to have to give it up, but having it pee all over the place is NOT acceptable. Brendan kept “forgetting” to change his cats litter box and she decided to use Jim’s suitcase. THAT was not a happy find.

Jim had an appt yesterday with a nutritionist and found out he needs to watch his calories. Am I bitter that he gets TWICE the number of calories that I do per day? YUP! Anyway, for dinner last night we went to Applebees and he got one of their new 550 cal dinners. He thought it was pretty good. Shrimp with WW pasta and some sort of spicy sauce.

Food Log:
Breakfast: raisin bran w/ff milk
Lunch: Lean Cuisine Flatbread, yogurt, hard boiled egg
Dinner: Applebees Grilled Oriental Chicken Salad
Dessert: Low Fat Brownies
September 10 DONE – VEGGIES DONE

Today a friend and I are going for a long walk. It will be a great workout and a fantastic chance to catch up.

Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!

DH teaches at the local university and his night class begins next Wednesday. In the past, I've always ordered in on Wednesday nights...chinese food, pizza, swiss chalet and such and I always ate WAAAAAY to much of whatever I ordered.

Because I am now dieting and am trying to save money for Disney, I've had to rethink my game plan for this semester. Then Zehrs had the Smart Ones microwavable entrees (from Weight Watchers) on sale for $1.99 so I stocked up. It was a perfect solution as I don't like cooking and hate cooking 2 different things for the same meal.

The kids can have hot dogs, mac and cheese, grilled cheese etc and I (thanks to the Smart Ones) can have a healthy and point appropriate meal in minutes. I just add a large salad and bingo! I'm in business!

I haven't made my exercise goal for the week though. :sad2: Although, I do have a quasi-acceptable good excuse. I didn't feel well for a couple of days this week (TOM) so although I started off strong, I ended rather lamely.

Oh well! :confused3: There's always next week.

I've done GREAT in the points area all week (even with the reduction from 30 to 28) and I was at 26 actually for three days (no after dinner snacks when not feeling to hot) so I'm hoping that doesn't turn out to be something that injures my success this week. I'm not expecting a lot come Monday because of water retention and other hormone related anomalies.

I hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Just a quick check-in kinda post! Been a good weekend thus far. I went over cals for the first time since I started on Fri night, but I'm not stressing it! It was for homemade pizza, which was totally worth it, and have been back on track for today!

Jane- I feel you on the cal thing, men have it too easy when it comes to weight loss!

Julie- We're even TOM'ing at the same time!! I started midweek as well, which explained the carb/sweet cravings! So, I'm not looking forward to the scales on Monday either. That's 2 cycles in 4 weeks, gotta love peri-menopause!

Tracking for today-
Breakfast- Omelette w/ FF cheddar & ham, 100 cal eng muffin.
Snack- PB granola thin
Lunch- 2 slices hawaiian pizza.
Snack- Breyers 100 cal yo crunch yogurt.
Dinner- Turkey burger, cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, applesauce.
Snack- RF cookies n cream ice cream. (maybe some grapes, haven't decided yet!)
Cals- 1475 (1700-2050)
Exercise- Ermmm...
Sept 11- Done!

Julie and Amanda - count me in as well (TOM), which with calcuations will mean I'll be right there again during our vacation (of course).

I had a fantastic day. Went on a 2+ mile walk with a friend, then out to lunch and just sat around chatting. It was exactly the nice relaxing type of day that I needed.

Morning guys. I will post last week and this week on WED.

A close family friend passed away and the kids and I needed to head out of town for the services. Please keep us in your prayers for safe travel.

Thanks,
Dawn

Sending prayers for safe travels and comfort, Dawn!

I'm down -3.2 this morning. If my math is accurate, I get my 10 lb pic back! :yay: :woohoo: :yay: :woohoo: :yay: :woohoo:

I'm so close to breaking into the next 10s place! Want it so bad I can't see straight.

Gonna motivate the heck out of me this week. HOWEVER, historically on WW I've always slowed down the 3rd week. And with TOM this past week/weekend (yes, me too...eery!) I think that the 3.2 was a little catch up from last week which was the first week back on WW and historically has been a pretty big number.

That being said.... I only need to lose 1.9 to get into the next 'decade' :lmao:

Be back later today. Gotta help DS7 get ready for school. That child takes longer than I do!

Good luck everyone on the weigh ins!! Congrats to all you losers and hang in there  s for those that struggled this week.

Dawn, my thoughts and prayers are with you, your family, and friends.

Down -4.5 this week. Yeah, lost the 2 I gained last week and then lost an additional 2.5 lbs. So far so good, have lost a total of 11 lbs since I started. I have got to say thank you to you all for keeping me accountable for my actions. If it was not for this board then I would have for sure fallen off the 'raft' by now.

I think my son is finally going to get onboard with trying to be healthier and losing weight. :yay: I spoke with him last night again about starting to count his points and I did not get the same reaction that I have gotten before, utter disgust that I even spoke with him about it (he is 15 and knows it all). I think that since I have been counting and he has seen that I have not been completely starving or depriving myself of foods that he is hopefully thinking that it is not going to be that bad after all. Heck, because he is a teenage boy he gets 44 points per day, which is a lot of points. Plus he also understands now that if he works hard at tennis or other exercise that he can earn additional points. I will just need to get him to understand that just because he has earned the extra points does not mean he needs to eat them. And he really needs to learn to eat better, exercise, and lose some weight because he is really starting down the wrong path of being really overweight. Now just keeping my fingers crossed that he will stick with it without too much complaining.

good morning! Ok, I'm back on the wagon today after seriously falling off during a weekend trip to the beach. I have no idea what I ate except it was all crap. But today is a new day, I have about 10-12 lbs to get off. You'd think training for a marathon & working out 5 days a week the weight would just pour off but for me all the training & exercising just makes me hungrier. I have GOT to figure out how to get a grip on it & use the training to lose.
Congrats on those who've lost weight last week, I'm terrified to get on the scale after what I ate this weekend.

~bree~

Good Monday Morning everybody! I had a pretty good weekend, other than having some serious breathing issues. I have allergy related bronchial asthma and have flare-ups periodically. This weekend was one of those times. When I can't breathe, I end up with a migraine, so that doesn't help matters. But, today I'm feeling much better. Still some wheezing going on, but not like it was yesterday.

The NC Mountain State Fair started on Friday and we usually go a few times during the week it's here. Our church group decided to go early Saturday morning to try & avoid the crowds. It kind of worked out, but it started raining right when they were going to start turning on the carnival rides. Too bad for Malachi :sad1:, but we'll go back later this week so he can ride some stuff. On a good note, our 9 yr old cousin won 3rd place in the Gospel Singing competition. Malachi decided he wants to enter next year. And, he and I had both entered some pictures in the Photography competition. He won 1st place in Color Photographs - Animal category and I won Judges Choice in the Color Photographs - People/Portraits category. It was our first time entering anything, so we were both very excited!

We left early when it started raining, so it was a good way for me to avoid the yummy, greasy fair food. I'm sure I'll "have" to have something during our next trip. Hubby always has to have what I call a "GREASE SANDWICH" - you know, those big huge skillets of meat swimming in grease that they slap on a roll and drown in cheese.

Anyways, here's my tracking for the weekend...

Dawn- prayers are with you and yours. So sorry for your loss.

I am at +/- 0 At least that's what I think! I weighed yesterday on the Wii fit. It's so hard switching scales and all that. I'm going to have to go buy a new one for the bathroom. I am all out of sorts! So I'm thinking I'll have to weigh in on Sundays until I get one. I don't have time to get on the Wii Monday mornings!
