When did Disney start to outsource their resort to park busses

Hey everyone I started all of this and for one I must say THANK YOU Disney transportation CM's, We LOVE you all so much. You are one of the main reasons we love Disney so much.

No real Disney markings, no CM outfits, a woman that could not speak english except to say the park name perfectly and point at the sign she had stopped at, no disney CM to explain that this was a legit bus. I have used a cruise bus to go to the parks and I have rode a ME bus to get to a park. I have been to Disney many times over the past 14 years and this was a first for me.

Every vehicle pulling up to a resort must get through the gate at the entrance to the resort. There's a guard at the entrance who has to verify each vehicle before raising the bar at the guard shack. If the bus is at the resort's bus stop then it was cleared by the Disney guard meaning it's a Disney approved bus and therefore legitimate.

Your right their was somene esle on the disabilty boards saying another type of bus from dynmic came to pop and they had to wait for another bus because tha bus couldnt take wheel chairs. disney is still responsible because they hired these company to help them out they should make sure that they are safe and the drivers are acting in a safe way nd following the law. To tell you the truth that bus company you posted are used by disney to shuttle their cms around durning busy time. I seen them pull up to contempory but only cms get on and off. They use them when they make the extra cm they bring in to work mk they shuttle them to other parking lots. So i think their needs to be something at bus stops saying when it busy that a non disney bus might arrive and will take you to the park that on it sign to let people know it safe to get on. we are used to lookin for white bus with disney on he side now they want us to get use to new buses. it hard because in other area they could bring in temps if needed but when you dont have extra buses they are stuck useing out side company or just have long waits. Even if they give buses drive ot they run out of buses they could put them at each stop to answer questiona dn let them know that this bus is okay. If they have a cm at the stop the driver would not have to speak to anyone because the cm would of said this is the bus to mk it an extra bus dont worry. Disney dose try to keep wait time down but when it means you have to use an out side company that you have guest worried to get on they need to fix it by buying more buses and increase their highly trained drivers.

I know that I posted on the disABILITIES! board about one of the coach style busses pulling up. We had a wheelchair with us for my 10 year old. She was able to hobble (she had a broken ankle with a boot so that's why the wheelchair) so the driver folded the chair and put it under the bus in the luggage area while she climbed up and got on the bus. The driver said he would have called for another bus had she not been able to transfer because there was no way that somebody who can't transfer or climb stairs or who has an ECV or Power Chair could have gotten on that bus. He was obviously in contact with the Disney dispatch if he was able to do this. He was actually one of our favourite bus drivers that whole trip. He happened to be at the bus stop when we were leaving the park and recognized us. As he saw us approaching, he got out of the bus, waved to us as he was opening the luggage area. He then chatted with us about WDW trivia the whole way back to our resort. This was at POFQ. I don't believe he was wearing a Disney uniform but he sure new his way around based on all the cool details he was sharing. He did have a very heavy accent, but he certainly spoke english very well. Had we not been having a long conversation with him, I would have only known that he had a heavy accent (my very poor accent identification skills prevent me from identifying the type of accent but to me it sounded Spanish or Portuguese) and it would have been very easy to wrongly assume that he didn't speak a lot of english.

I also saw this same kind of coach bus several times in June at Pop Century.

In each instance, the bus was marked with a piece of paper in the front window and another on the door indicating where it was going.

Each time I saw this kind of bus, it was heading to Epcot. I think it may have something to do with the setup of the parking area and room to move those big busses.

Never say never when it comes to WDW Transport.

Now that's an approach I haven't heard.

Maybe I'm the difference in opinion, but I think it has to do with ppl having their strollers folded and organized before the bus getting there, leading to quicker boarding which leads to better utilization of the bus, combined with coordinators doin better. I'm sure there are several good ones, but I also know there are some who are not very good.
