When did bounceback rates start to appear for next year?

When we were in WDW in June, the bounceback offer was still for dates this year. At what point does Disney start to offer dates for the following year, does anybody know? Thanks!

Well, just going by last year (2007) the Free Dining Bounceback that ran during the Free Dining period last year was to be able to book Free Dining package ahead for the next year (2008). It was supposed to expire on 9/28, but was extended until 10/12/07.

Then the Bounceback after that one was for room discounts and it started on 10/23/07 and that one included dates for the next year - so IF it goes the same way this year, the next Bounceback after the Free Dining BB would be one that should include some room discounts for some of next years (2009) dates.

When you say, "supposed to expire on 9/28, but was extended until 10/12/07," what does that mean exactly? Do you mean that it was originally offered for 2008 trips through 9/28, but they extended the travel dates to 10/12/08?

No, sorry, I knew that sounded confusing after I posted it

What I meant to say is that the Bounceback offer that was in everyone's room during the Free Dining last year (2007) was to be able to book Free Dining again for the next year (2008). They were supposed to stop that BB offer the last day of Free Dining 9/28/07, but the BB FD offer info stayed in the rooms, on resort TV, etc. until 10/12/07, so you could still book the offer until then - the FD dates were still the same, you just had more time to decide to book it.

JMO but I think they did that because a lot of people checked in on the last few days of Free Dining, and WDW wanted to give them an opportunity to experience FD and want to do it again the next year!

For example, last year if someone checked in on the final day of FD (on 9/28/07), and the BB FD offer expired on that day, they would have had to decide ASAP whether to do it again next year - or maybe they wouldn't even see the info on it until it was too late (if they didn't read the DIS ) So they gave them a few extra days to decide whether to book it
