When calling member services.....

We have reservations for OKW this June. We have decided to fly down on Friday, but OKW reservations do not begin until Saturday. We need to call member services tomorrow and give them flight information for Magical Express. At the same time, we need to book 2 rooms for that Friday night at a non-DVC resort using cash. I know we must give ME info through MS, but will they also make that cash reservation for us?

When I stayed at Pop before our BWV stay in January, I booked ME through the Disney reservations, not MS.

Cash reservations at non-DVC resorts can't be made thru MS- they can only make reservations at non-DVC options using points. You can make your DME reservation when you make the cash reservation thru CRO.

You will have to go though disney for the arriving Me. Then call MS and book the returning ME. I've done it twice in the past year.

I just did this for our upcoming trip in a couple of weeks. Due to airline prices it was cheaper for us to fly out Friday night instead of Saturday Morning (We have a GV at SSR 3/25 - 4/1). I reserved 1 night at All Sports through CRO receiving and AP discount. At that point I set up our incoming ME (from MCO to All Sports). I then called MS and set up our returning trip on ME (from SSR to MCO). I received all the documents in the mail last week. The only Glitch was one of the names is wrong for our return ME trip. I'll call MS tomorrow to straighten that out but everything else went very smoothly

It's really easy to book ME right through the DVC Member website. Piece of cake!
