Do you count the hours till you can go home? I am today, rainy, dreary and I don't want to be here. My boss just said great day to be at work. Huh, I never think it's a great day to be at work.

Uusally not unless I'm feeling sick then I may figure out how much longer I have.

I may watch the clock in meetings that are boring but that is about all.

Only if it's a really slow night. I'm a waitress so we're usually busy, and if we're extremely busy I can look at the clock and think 5 minutes has passed when it's really been a couple of hours. But slow nights are terrible, nothing to do and the time drags.

I confess - I sometimes count the hours, minutes, seconds until I can leave work! I more often remind myself of how many more years until retirement.

Actually, no. I usually have a great time at work BUT I only work for 3-5 hour shifts at a time so that probably has something to do with it. I probably would definitely start counting the hours if I worked a full work day.

There are days when I'm counting the hours until dad gets home when the kids are driving me bananas though!
