When are you Putting your Christmas Tree Up ??

I noticed in town today, that Nuneaton 'Entertainment Capital of Warwickshire' - NOT !! has started to put up it's decoration

Anyway it got me wondering when you are thinking of putting your decorations up. My diary has already been marked for Saturday 26th November - and I can't wait.

I'm off for Crimbo shopping at the Trafford Centre on Saturday, and their lights are being switched on on Thursday evening - so if anyone is going there, I'll be the ultra-mega-excitable person in the Disney Store

We usually put our tree up about 10 days before Christmas.. Even though I am quite excited about crimbo don't think the tree will go up before then.

We always put ours up on the 1st of december. If DH would let me put them up any earlier i would I love shopping at the trafford centre

I wait till the 12th of December usually to put our tree and decorations.

I really want a real tree this year so may have to hang back a couple of weeks, Dont want it dead on the big day!

I think we will be putting ours up around the last weekend of November too. As we will be in WDW for Christmas we wll have to take our tree down before we go. We are having our family Christmas day on the 10th December. Half of of our family will be in Australia for Christmas, we will be a WDW and my parents will still be here so we figured we better swap the gifts early!! So I need our house to be ready by then!!

we always put ours up on the first of december.

this year dh wont be here as he has to work (away) so its bitter sweet. well put it up before he goes then when he gets home well be taking it down. its the first crimbo hes ever been away and im not looking forward to it. boohoo

The lights in Hinckley are already up (not lit though).

We usually put our tree up the weekend before Christmas, but this year we will bea week early

Normally 2 weeks before and down 2 weeks after.
I'd happily put it up earlier but farm hasn't got them for sale in October

DH always says that we can't start "Christmas" officially until after his birthday on December 16th so the tree normally goes up then(ish!) unless I have nagged him enough before then!

Not sure if a big tree will fit this year as we've had a rearrange.

Will have to arrange a tour of Nuneaton and Hinckley to get him in the festive spirit

He likes to do it closer to Xmas but I don't think I can wait.

Probably about 2 weeks before Christmas, this will be our first year with cats and decorations together, I can't wait to see the mayhem unfold! Leeds has it's decorations up but not lit too, I'm waiting to hear what Z-list celebrity they will be parading out there to flick the switch this year, it's normally somone from Emmerdale.

I love the Trafford Centre too - we should try and arrange a DiS meet there one weekend before Xmas to do some present shopping, the DiS Christmas shop meet!
