When are the Star Wars fireworks at DHS over

Will be there in March. Chose Tues March 15 for HS. I considered skipping the park because of all the transformation in progress.

Then decided to go for it.

Daughter just saw her first Star Wars movie, so some of that will be a plus.

Will just take it easy in HS. Going to SciFi diner for lunch for first time.

Hoping for the fireworks to still be there.

Someone mentioned thru the 19th??? If they go off popular demand, maybe they will stick around.

I would like to do fireworks and skip Fantasmic, which is good, but we have seen it several times.

The park hours will be extended. If there is only 1 F! show, then I believe the fireworks would be before that. So, I think F! would be at 10 or 10:30pm. For instance tonight DHS is open until 8:30pm. F! is at 9pm, and the fireworks are at 8pm. If there are 2 F! shows, then it is sandwiched between them. 8pm seems early for a Spring Break closing time anyway. I bet it will be later. Last year on 3/18, DHS closed at 9:30pm. There were no fireworks at that time. We are doing the fireworks dessert party the following night, 3/15. It's scheduled for 8:30pm, which means the fireworks would be at 9:30pm. I think they might do two F! shows during that time, since the park is open so late.
Perfect! Thank for you, for the precise information! We'll make sure we don't miss it!

I think the day we are at HS, the closing time will be 10pm. Tues March 15th.

I believe so too. That is the day that we are doing the dessert party, which is at 8:30pm so fireworks at 9:30pm. Touring Plans shows the closing at 10pm, but that's with PM EMH from 8-10pm.

The music is what makes the fireworks awesome. I don't know if they pipe music in outside of the park.

Yes! This! We were at DHS the evenings of January 1 and 2, specifically to say farewell to the Osborne Lights (which we did). We also stayed for the fireworks, being big fireworks and Star Wars fans. I don't know what we were expecting, but I honestly think this is the best fireworks display I have ever seen in my life, Disney or elsewhere. It is perfectly synced with the wonderful John Williams music, both in timing and the types of fireworks for each section. The setting is a little more 'intimate' than the Epcot or Magic Kingdom shows. And while the fireworks themselves are beautiful (and some unusual ones), you really should see it somewhere that you can hear the music.

Here now and really had hoped we could see the Star Wars fireworks. Looks like tomorrow nite will be our only option and will require us to add park hoppers and skip Illuminations ... Hmmm ... What to do

I agree with PP's that these fireworks were amazing! Saw some we've not seen before, and great setting and music!

Will it be possible to see the first F! Show (we are doing the dinner package) on 2/28 and the fireworks? We want to see both. Suggestions on how to see both?

Skip Illuminations. Go see Star Wars Fireworks. I think it's worth the park hopping but if money is that tight, you can see them just outside the park. Yes the music helps sell the show but there are dozens of good videos available on YouTube for that. It's mostly a mixture of movie dialogue and music. Very familiar stuff. The finale alone is one of the best I've ever seen. Lots of percussion and deep booms. It vibrates through you.

Funny story I heard was from a CM at Grand Floridan. He told me when they tested the fireworks back in early December they did it late one night when most guests were asleep. Like 1am. CMs were just getting off duty and heading home for the night when they heard that loud finale. All the way to magic Kingdom. Everyone thought Disney had been bombed. (Next time they should give some warning, to save the 911 calls at least.)

I love Illuminations and they have improved it recently with better laser lights and stunning water/fire effects, but it is essentially the same show it's been the last 15 years. And it'll be essentially the same show the next 5 years. But these Star Wars fireworks are limited time only.

When I was there over NYE, I saw them 3 times. I stayed to watch Illuminations and its holiday tag one night then beelined down to DHS to catch another showing of Star Wars.

One note, the video you find online does not to that ending justice. The range of sound is just too deep and loud to be captured by video camera microphones. You have to hear it and feel it. It just sounds chintzy on the video.

Hoping to catch the Star Wars fireworks tonite after dinner at 'Ohana. Dinner is at 5:05 so hopefully traffic will be good to us and we can make it on time

Do they do the SW fireworks every night? We will be at DHS on 3/4...we are planning on Fantasmic at 7pm and would love too see the fireworks after. I looked at the schedule of events for that day and so not see the fireworks listed.

actually from now on the fireworks will be at 8 pm until March 6th, then from March 7th through March 12th they are at 8:30 pm then March 13th through March 19th at 9:30 pm.
No end date has been given

Will we be able to make a 7pm Fantasmic show and then the fireworks at 8pm on 3/4?

yes, everyday until the 19th for sure, for now. You can make both F! and the fireworks

Just be warned, you'll likely run into big crowds going from Fantasmic to the fireworks, and therefore not an ideal spot to view.
