Now that our kids are gone and we will be going alone when is it the emptiest? I know right after New Year has been deserted, but when else is a low time. Would like to go other than dead of winter.

Thanks

Jan
Sept
May

then MK is not so bad during Nov - EPcot because of the food/wine festavial in both Oct/Nov is as busy as Epcot gets.

MK in Oct has MNSSHP.

May is getting to be pretty popular because of the flower/garden festavial.

this year crowds were due to the beginning of the 50th anniversary and it probably won't be so crowded next year in May.

although for 2 adults alone. I would go during the food/wine festavial. You don't need to like wine to love this event. the food is from all over too!!!

lots to try!!!

it starts Sept 30 and goes to Nov 12.

The week before Christmas week is pretty slow too.

Summer crowds die down during the last week or so of August as kids get ready to return to school, then the crowds evaporate for the whole month of September. WDW is a ghost town in September.

Crowds are reasonably thin in October, though a little heavier than September. October weather is much better than September, though; it's a little cooler but still hot enough for swimming, and the humidity drops, and the rains die down a lot.

The first two weeks of December are usually very empty, but crowds have been getting a little heavier as word has spread over the internet. Crowds during December build slowly until Christmas week, when they explode into the heaviest week of the year.

But one or two days after New Years, the crowds evaporate again, and WDW is deserted once more the rest of January and part of February.

boy I was bad - I forgot Dec!!!

and Dec is my favorite time to go - it is great - everything is decorated and there is MVMCP!!!

thanks for reminding me!!!!

September really is slow, but be careful of what is known as "teachers week". Its when alot of schools are closed in New Jersey. Also, schools will be closed in New York for a few days the first week of October, and alot of people might take that friday through wednesday off and make a week vacation of it (thats what we're planning to do)

I'm not suppossed to mention this (because gosh knows it will get out), but the week after Labor Day weekend is a ghost town. You can own the place! :thewave: :thewave:
