When are the 60th decorations supposed to come down?

I was lucky enough to visit last October when the diamonds were out everywhere, and I'm going back again this October.

I guess it's too much to hope the 60th decorations will still be around by then? I remember reading somewhere the celebration is over in September.

Such a shame, they've done such a great job with the whole theming and keeping the fun going all year.

Official word is that the celebration ends September 5.... and of course, I arrive September 11.... so I am HOPING and PRAYING that some of it is still up!! I am especially hoping that castle is still sparkly!!! We were last there (coincidentally) in 2005 for the 50th and the entire park was absolutely STUNNING! ..............P

I'd be surprised if all of the decorations stay up through September 5th. Most probably will, but there will be a point that if something needs to be replaced, they'll take it down. By the end of the that week Halloween will be completely up. The only thing that would probably stay is some diamonds on the castle, because they'll have to cover it to take those down. I'd expect most of what's left on the castle will be down by the time Christmas goes up, which would be early November.

I will be there end of September and would love to see some decorations, I hope they haven't all gone!
