When are Grad Nights?

When are they and how packed will it be?

Grad nights are April 25, 26 and May 2, 3, 9

The grads get into MK after park closing so I don't see how it would affect crowds. PI may be busier than usual during the day though.

Yes grads come in after MK is closed, but MK will close early on grad nights (Fridays and Saturdays). Usually they last about 3 weeks, so hopefully the days posted are correct. We are there the first 2 weeks of May and have been going in late April early May for over 10 years now. Never a problem, other than an early MK closing and usually no e-ticket nights, late openning at PI during Grad activities, and a shortage of parking near PI. Lots of proms at the conference resorts too. (No e-ticket nights during our 15 days stay last year--haven't hear yet about this year)

MK is closing at 8:30pm on April 25 & 26 (Fantasy in the Sky at 8:30pm). They are staying open until 9:30 on April 27 (Sunday) with Spectromagic & fireworks to make up for it. May hours are not out.

My husband and I are planning our night out alone on Saturday May 3rd. We are looking forward to doing PI, how will Grad night affect this??

Don't know about the 3rd, but in the past there have been activities at PI before grad night. Usually it means that PI doesn't open to the public until 9:00 PM (I'm guessing this was the time, maybe a little earlier). Usually PI is open earlier, but there are activities and games going on for the grads, which is not open to the public. After the grads leave, PI opens for the public. I don't know how you would find out this information prior to your date. We just stumbled on it one night when we wanted to stroll through PI.

Are you sure May 3rd as well as the 2nd? In past years there have never been grad nights on both Friday and Saturday night. When we were there last year that weekend we saw the parade on Saturday night and there was a grad night on Friday.

Those dates are correct. The first 2 weekends it's both Friday and Saturday, the third weekend is just Friday. It's been that way the last 3 years. All 3 years we arrived on the Saturday following the last Friday.
