What do I say. My kids and spouse have been to DLParis and Disney Sea in Tokyo. It's there first trip to MK. So do I say yes it's there first time or no they've been to other parks in the world? It's not my first time at MK just the first in 20 years but I know that I don't count as a first timer. Ack, weird question I know. :scratchin

Say yes it is their first time to this park and my First time in 20 years :)

Make sure to get your 1st visit pin too! :) You can get them at the information area at the front of the park :) You normally get extra special attention :D

Agreed! It helps them know how much "help" to offer you, I think. If you've been to the World 50+ times, they aren't going to run you through the basics the way they would if it's your first time. They're likely looking to see if you need info on ADR's, etc.

What do I say.

It's not an interrogation. The CM is likely just trying to make conversation.

I'd probably just say yes if the alternative was some long winded story about visits to other Disney parks.

When I called to finalize the latest trip the CM was so nice and chatty. She asked several times if we were celebrating anything and would list different things. Finally, I said, "Well this is the first trip for my spouse and kids to DisneyWorld in Orlando but they've been to other Disney parks." She said, "Oh my goodness first trip! That's excellent. I'll make sure to put it in here and you make sure to pick up your buttons and wear them everyday!" She really made my day just being so sweet.

Wonderful! Sometimes they sprinkle extra pixie dust for a birthday, anniversary, or 1st visit, such as a card signed by characters, an extra treat or dessert, something small but nice. pixiedust:

I would say that YES you are a 'first timer' The kids haven't ever been to WDW in Orlando before, it's their first time. And if you haven't been in 20 years, it might as well be your first time...they didn't have a lot of what they have now back then. :goodvibes Dont' get stressed...it's not a test or a trick question.
