My family, boyfriend, and his family leave in 2 weeks for Disneyland, and my boyfriend had emergency abdominal surgery this past Saturday night. He is clear to go to Disneyland, but unable to go on any fast rides. He will be in the hospital through this weekend and isn't realeased to go back to work until the beginning of November (he is a paramedic = lots of lifting), so we know he will not be up to walking all day in the parks. We would like to rent a wheelchair from Disneyland so he can sit when he needs to, and don't worry, we won't abuse the shorter line priviledge (but considering that he can't go on any fast rides, we won't have too many horribly long lines to deal with in the first place)!!!
So, I have a few questions about renting wheelchairs:
1. Do we need a doctor's note? His condition isn't obvious unless he lifts his shirt to reveal the 7-8 inch long incision on his stomach.
2. How much does it cost per day?
3. Is it possible to take the wheelchair back to the hotel? We are staying at the GCH.
Thank you all in advanced for the information!!!
