Hello,

We are going on the Magic at the end of March. In an inside category 10 cabin there will be myself, DH, DD, and DMIL. My DMIL will need a wheelchair and I've been told we can rent one for the week.

Has anyone done this? Did the wheelchair work out well on the ship? Getting on/off the boat? Where did you store the wheelchair (I've been told it has to stay in our cabin!).

Thanks for any help!!

When we sailed this 8/3 on the Magic the people in the cabin next to us had a wheelchair. I often saw it being stored in the hallway next to their cabin. It did not look like it was ever in the way.

We will be on the 10-5 Magic. My mother is 85 and has mobility problems. We will take a transporter wheelchair. I have found a dearth of info on wheelchairs and DCL, so I hope to write something that can help others on our return. Stay in touch with me if interested.

In the updates about using a wheel chair on DCL. Am thinking about including my 83 year old mother next May. She can walk only short distances.
