What's your winter break?

I am interested in taking my kids Jan 7-11 because my kids' school district doesn't come back from winter break until Jan 12.

Can anyone share their winter break schedule? Do most schools go back on Jan 5th? Are the holiday decorations still going to be up??

Our winter break is Dec 19- Jan 6th (yes, a Tues *shrug*).

The Disney Parks Blog indicated that HMH's last day would be Jan 6, 2015. So at this point, that seems like the likely last day for the holiday "season" at DLR. That means, after that, decorations will start coming down.

Based on the LAUSD Single Track district calendar, it looks like winter break runs through January 9, 2015.

With the unblocking of SoCal passes and LA schools out that week, it may be a very busy locals week. I will be there for the Star Wars half the weekend of the 19th so I didn't want the week of the 12th... February is looking better but we would miss HMH -- my DD(14)'s favorite ride.

DS' s break is 12/15-1/5. We're in San Jose. I still can't believe he gets 3 weeks off!

I work in an elementary school office and we get out for winter break the 19th and we return January 5th.
