whats your weekend plans?

My parents are coming on Saturday, so Friday I will be cleaning. We don't really have plans when they get here. Maybe take a drive to Rocky Mtn Nat'l Park or Estes Park on Sunday (supposed to be 80). I took Monday off, so we'll probaby hang out and go out for lunch. My parents are clowns, and brought all their balloon stuff. They will spend Monday a.m. at my daughter's daycare making balloon creatures (but not dressed as clowns). I am not real close with my parents, so I am a little stressed about the weekend. Friday afternoon I hope to see Matrix Reloaded, matinee.

on Saturday I'll be cleaning the house, going to a Scholastic Book Fair (50% off!!!) near us to pick up books for my classroom next year, tutoring in the afternoon, then on Sunday watching my son play baseball:D

It will be "all hands on deck" here as we get ready for our bulk pick-up!! Can't wait to get rid of some of this junk:D Exciting, huh??!!

Saturday will be cleaning and errands. Sunday I'll try to get some more yard work done and then something with my son since it is his 19th birthday.

I'm working all weekend.

Ok, I live in Mass also and don't know what Roger Williams Park is or Wrights chicken farm or the Purgatory Chasm. Could you tell me?

Don't feel bad, I don't know either. I guess I didn't ask because I don't have any little kids.

Well my inlaws have sucked up another weekend. It seems like whenever one person in DH's family has an event going on, someone else has to get in on the action.

So here's my weekend plans:

DH's littlest sister is graduating with her Master's in Psychology on Sat, which we have known about for months and have planned for. Not a problem. Last night DH's other little sister (the flakey one) calls and says I don't know if anybody told you but Brooke's baptism is Sunday after 11:30 mass. Uh, who else would have told us about this - you are her mother! And thanks for the short notice. So anyway with 2 days now before that event, I have to spend tomorrow night shopping for a baptism gift and spend all day Sunday with my inlaws after spending all day Saturday with them. I have no idea what to get the baby and I won't give money because her parents will spend it on themselves or something else inappropriate. Plus DH is working Sunday, so I have to deal with them solo, which I try to avoid at all costs.

I'm oncall for work this weekend, so I guess I can always hope and pray that I get paged all day Sunday so I won't have to go. Oh well, it'll be good preparation for when we spend a week with all of these people at WDW in July.

The event we look forward to all year long... the 4 hour DANCE RECITAL!

Sure wish they'd just do a private showing for DD's class just once :)

No big plans for us as DH is working his buns off lately!! :)

Probably some planting in the yard. We've been wating for this weather to get it's act together around here first.

And I need to search through the cook books and such to find a recipe for my DD's preschool picnic next week. I need a 'salad' dish. Any kind of salad...pasta, macaroni, potato, etc. I just can't make up my mind.

And of course house work as usual, it's non ending around here the amount of laundry and cleaning that needs to be done. And I have a ton of paper work to do.

So basicly nothing fun at all goin' on. Bummer! :(

Friday I will clean house most of the day. Friday night we will probably grab a pizza and watch a video at our favorite pizza joint. Saturday is the soap box derby. I have two nephews and one neice competing this year so I'm sure to be hoarse by the end of the day, lol.
Sunday we will go to choir practice and then church and will eat out with friends after church, then Ash will go play volleyball with the youth group.

At 12:30 this afternoon DH and I and another couple are hopping on a plane to spend a long weekend in St. Barthelemy in the French West Indies. DH used to live there in the mid-80's. I'm REALLY looking forward to drinking a bunch of French wine and eating a bunch of French food.:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

If I can, I'll post pictures when I get back. Have a great weekend everybody.

Dog shows both days again. We have 4 weekends in a row with dog shows.

We are going camping.....
Can't wait, the camper is ready to go, all of the junk food is packed, the wood for the fire, and of course everything to make smores.

let's see---

this afternoon younger dd will drop off her birthday party invitations at various friends' houses in the neighborhood, then go to dance class. older dd is panning to go to synagogue to participate in a friend's bat mitzvah service. although my ex is picking up younger dd after dance class, I may have to drive older dd to his house after services.

tomorrow younger dd will attend Satruday morning classes for her gifted youth program. since it's the last sessiion, the parents are invited to come observe the classes.

I haven't planned anything for saturday afternoon yet. the girls will be with their father, so my time is my own.

but I have to meet older dd saturday night. she's having dinner with a few friends at California Pizza Kitchen, and since she and I have to be at synagogue for the 7th grade brunch sunday morning, she's going to sleep at home instead of at her father's house. after the brunch she has to change her clothes and go to the bat mitzvah party. I guess I'll run some errands until it's time to pick her up at the party, and then we'll hang out until younger dd comes home from her fahter's house.
