Whats your Wedding Song?

We got married in 1992 and our wedding song was Michael Bolton's "New Love",, which I would never choose now if I were picking. We have a few that are meaningful now, and much more so than that one was. Billy Joel's version of "To Make You Feel My Love" is one of my favorites, as well as Van Morrison's "Tupelo Honey" and "Someone Like You". It's so hard to choose one, good luck!

"The Way You Look Tonight" by Elton John. We had the wedding party dance with us to "To Make You Feel My Love" by Garth Brooks.:lovestruc

We got married in 1996 and our song was "I Cross my Heart" by George Straight. We are country fans. I love "Lost in this Moment" by Big & Rich and would use that now if I could.

We used Dream Come True by Frozen Ghost. We were married in 2007.
Love of my life
I don't have a lot to give you
what's in my heart
is all that I can really give you
love undying love is all I have
a handful of words that might make you laugh
And all the strength you need
to make it through all your troubled times
I give all of myself to you
only you my dream come true

Love if my life
you are all I ever wanted
to be with you
is all I ever really wanted
you you've made my life a fairytale
you've added love to a life that was so stale

And know that I'll be here
always for you
when you need a friend
I give all of myself to you
only you my dream come true

I've been waiting my whole life for you
now my waiting is through
all the nights I spent dreaming I knew
that my dream would come true

(so many nights)
I've laid awake dreaming I knew
one day I'd be with you (ah ah)
now all my nights of dreaming are through
'cause my dream has come true

dream come true
(dream come true, dream come true, dream come true)
my dream has come true
(my dream has come true)
dream come true
(dream come true)
my dream has come true
(my dream has come true)
dream come true
(dream come true)
my dream has come true
(my has come true)

If we had done a wedding where you would need music, we would have used Power of Love by Celine Dion. Since we didn't, we had vroooom, vroooom instead. We got married at Daytona Beach during Bike Week! :thumbsup2

'At Last'- Etta James
This is SUCH a great song! My niece chose this as her wedding song and it was a fantastic choice. Plus, it's classic (and gorgeous).

My better half & I got married in '94 and our wedding song was "Nothing Else Matters" by Metallica :). Yes, really. I still catch it on the radio periodically and it makes me smile because the words still hold true for us.

I always thought "We Go On" from Illuminations would make a perfect wedding song:

With the stillness of the night
there comes a time to understand
to reach out and touch tomorrow
take the future in our hand
We can see a new horizon
built on all that we have done
and our dreams begin another
thousand circles 'round the sun

We go on
to the joy and through the tears
We go on
to discover new frontiers
Moving on
with the current of the years

We go on
moving forward, now as one
Moving on
with a spirit born to run
Ever on
with each rising sun
To a new day
We go on
We go on

This Was played at the end of daughter's disney wedding video, they had a dessert party in EPCOT at the end of the reception and the video has them dancing to it at the end of illuminations. I just tear up everytime I hear it.

Ours was Everything by Michael Buble.

We had narrowed it down to a few songs, but we couldn't agree. A friend of mine suggested this song and we both loved it.

The Hawaiian Wedding Song by Elvis is what we had played as we cut our cake. I love that one a lot!

Will You Still Love Me by Chicago came on the radio last night and I thought that was nice too.
Fiance is not being too helpful here, he's got like tunnel vision lol its Bryan Adams or Elvis for him.

It could be worse. DH's BFF played "Two Out of Three Ain't Bad" for his wedding dance... with his first wife. I guess he knew what he was doing.

We were married in 1996. Our song was "Because you loved me" by Celine Dion.
We also had a spotlight song which was kind of like a second first dance later in the night. It was "Never saw a miracle" by Curtis Stigers. I still cry when I hear it! :lovestruc

My husband and I danced to "The One" by Elton John. Our wedding party danced to "Truly, Madly, Deeply" by Savage Garden. It was 1999
