What's your ultimate tip?

I think the cheapest care insurance is the Natwest policy at £75 per year. You can then get the journeywise family insurance for around £70 (?). So that means your insurance would cost about £150. I am not sure on the details, but it has been recommended by several people on the boards. You have to have a Natwest card and pay for your car hire with the card.

Go for longer, if you can. It costs more to get there than it does to stay, especially at peak times. Two weeks just isn't long enough, particularly if you want it to be a holiday!

Hi all,

My best tip which I try to pass on to any Disneyholic is VISIT THE DIS.

It's so good to be back,

As they say in the Unofficial Guide.............."Plan ahead or get a frontal lobotomy".:jester:

Seriously, do your research, have loads of room for sponteneity, but know more than the next guy about parks, eateries, shopping, your hotel, flight, etc, etc.:bounce:

Remember that you are going on a holiday, not a commando assault. Take time out to just chill in a waterpark, stroll around Worldshowcase, enjoy a leisurely meal.

buy the longest pass you can afford, an AP would be great, or get the 10 or 30 day pass. (but not the UMP, I think an AP is a better deal for more than 8 days)

Trying to cram everything into a 5 day hopper is just madness - it means you will feel obliged to go early, stay all day, and try and 'do everything' cause you don't want to waste a day of your pass. With a longer pass, and particularly with an AP, you can really relax and go with the flow -if you want to go to a park for an hour or two you can do that without worrying that you are wasting a day.

LOL i agree!!
Drink plenty water round the parks, use sun creams/block, Dont do everything in one day, theres enough time for it all,and if you dont do something you wanted to do whilst you was there, you can always book again ;)

And remember its a holiday, not an assault course, make sure you have a days rest especially with children, and also make sure kids have there own water/fan, hat and sun block ;) and keep the, covered up!!

Drink water - little and often - booze dehydrates and fizzy drinks rot your teeth!
