What's your toddlers favorite restaurant?

We're heading to Disney this summer with our kids (15 months and 2.5) :cool1:

We're going with a work conference and many meals are included, or we'll just do counter service for the majority that aren't covered.

Right now I'm planning to do a princess breakfast in Epcot and I'd like to have 1 sit-down dinner. I know almost everything in Disney is kid-friendly :) But what places did your kids really love? I'm probably not looking for another character meal since we'll have the breakfast and I think the conference has a character meal as well.

We're staying at the CR and I'm open to having this dinner anywhere (parks or resorts.)

Biergarten was so much fun for our daughter last year. We were actually at WDW celebrating her first birthday and other than the character meals, this restaurant seemed to be her favorite. She absolutely loved the band! People were also dancing which gave her one more thing to watch. Lots of fun and the food is really good. We'll be going back in September with our now two year old and our soon to be one year old. Should be a lot of fun for the two of them. Plus our fifteen year old son also really loves Biergarten as well.

I know you don't want a character meal, but honestly, her favorite was Hollywood and Vine breakfast. She still loves to watch the video of her dancing with the Little Einsteins. She had so much fun!

Other than that, we all loved Ohana. Plenty to see and do and she ate great.

My son's favorite non-character restaurants are Coral Reef and San Angel Inn. Both have a fun ambience. Coral Reef is in the living seas and looks out into the main aquarium. San Angel is in Mexico and is right next to the boat ride and it dimly lit with a volcano and Aztec temple in the distance. We love the food there.

Our grandkids......loved Biergarten and the oompa music......they also liked the food that they had there.

But all the older teens and college grandkids loved Crystal palace and the fun there......we enjoyed it as well and go with just the adults.

have fun

Mine wants to go back to The Garden Grill. He loved how it moved around the scenes in the land ride.

He tells us he wants to go eat at the rotating restaurant all the time and can't wait to go back.

He wasn't all that interested in the kids food there however they got him chicken nuggets and fries for him instead (he was under 3 at the time so he was free). Our waiter there was great and he was the one that offered to get the boys the nuggets and fries when he saw they weren't eating the food.

I know you aren't looking for a character meal but the character interaction there was great as well. We had a lot of fun. :goodvibes

My children's favorites were Crystal Palace & O'Hana... Crystal Palace does have the characters, but they are Winnie the Pooh & friends so it's different and they loved the food. O'Hana was fun because they got to do the coconut racing and dance - and the bread pudding dessert there is the best!!

My nephews when they were 2 and 4 loved Sci Fi Drive In. But I wasn’t a fan of it trying to get them to eat their meal. But if you are looking for entertainment and for a few quiet moments, check it out. They will be mesmerized by the big screen.

Other than character meals (we love Chef Mickey's!) probably Whispering Canyon. It's a fun atmosphere, they have activities periodically for the kids to participate in, I think 'Ohana does too (we're trying that for the first time in Sept).

Ohana, Teppan Edo, and San Angels.... in that order.

DD3 just told me which ones.... in her words:

"the coconut race, the fire-y chef with the knives, and the boats next to the volcano"

Our 20 month old daughter loved Beirgarten. She was too little for the O'hana fun, we didn't try character meals because I wasn't sure how she'd react to them, and at Coral Reef we were far from the tank. All the entertainment at Biergarten was great.

Who knew all toddlers were german? Seriously, our little ones loved Biergarten. It was lively and they loved the food and the band. It was crowded and noisy from my perspective, and I do not enjoy trying to juggle a buffet and a toddler.

Their next favorite meal was at Coral Reef. I got to hear "look mom, the turtle!" about 10,000 times in the course of a meal, but they had a really good time.

Sanaa was also a big hit as they were able to see animals. The staff there also did an amazing job. The grilled fish with rice, veggies, and yogurt parfait were also a big hit!

One more toddler for Biergarten. My nephew danced the entire show and still ate a plate and a half of everything. Even had a little sauerbraten.

'Ohana. Our 20 month old could participate in some of the dinner fesitivities. She loved shaking the maracca and doing the limbo. Which was actually just walking under the stick but she loved it nonetheless. Anything the big kids are doing she is game for.

Our whole family are huge Pooh Fans, so there's always a visit to Crystal Palace.

Outside of the parks, My nephew LOVES WCC, It's such a fun atmosphere! Inside the parks, San Angel Inn is another favorite. We were there last time when the mariachi band was getting ready to play, and that was a lot of fun!
