Do you secretly like something that others would mock you for? Post it here!

I love Dawson's Creek. I watch the reruns over and over again. And I'm 34 years old!

I actually own a bottle of Britany Spears' Curious perfume. It smells good. But when people come up and ask me what I am wearing, I am embarrassed to tell them!

I am attracted to Elliott on American Idol. I have no idea why, because when I first saw him I thought he was scary. Maybe his wonderful singing voice has hypnotized me!

What is your secret shame?

Our local AM radio station. I am 28 and my friends make fun of me for listening to an "old persons" radio station, but I sort of grew up with my dad and grandparents having it on all day.

They play a good variety of music, and have some local "open mic" type talk shows that are fun to listen to because all of the bitter older people in our town call up and complain about the pettiest things.

Shhh...don't tell!

Along the same lines as the OP......

I'm 39 years old and watch Saved By The Bell every morning from 7-9. I get especially excited on Fridays, as Saved By The Bell--The College Years is on. :woohoo:

Ok, I don't feel so bad now....I also love Saved by the Bell. I tend to catch Boy meets world at 2-3 pm by chance, too ;) Sometimes I even catch Fresh Prince of Bellaire or Full House.
Man, I'm pathetic......

I still enjoy watching Saved by the Bell, Fresh Prince of Bellaire and Full House too.

I also will admit to watching mindless entertainment like all the series of the Bachelor, the Flavor Flav fiasco entitled Flavor of Love, and Date my Mom on MTV. I may be of the MTV generation when MTV was created, but I am really getting kind of old to still be watching it!

Oh me too! I love those MTV shows. "My Super Sweet 16", "Next", "Date my Mom", "True Life", "Made"... they are the best!

I read Reader's Digest and listen to Disney theme park music in the car...yes that is me at the stoplight singing Listen to the Land.

I love 90210... my dh makes fun of me all the time.. I get it on soap net at 5 everyday!! I record it on my dvr incse I miss it!!

and I hated kelly and dlyan together!!

I know every word to every episode of Full House. :rolleyes1 I had every episode recorded on video from the original run on TGIF. Thank goodness the first 3 seasons are out on DVD - my tapes were about worn out!

Im so glad im not the only one to watch full house, saved by the bell, boy meets world, and sometimes even family matters when it is on..

I love reality shows (no matter how many times i say i WILL not watch anymore)

I also LOVE Elliot on AI...AND he also creeped me out the very first time I saw him...

I watch the Waltons all the time. That show is my comfort food.

I'm 40 yo and want my nose pierced.

I love to shop in Hot Topic with my DD(but I have yet to buy any clothes from there)

Okay, this one is REALLY bad  ...I am SOOOO old enough to be his mother...BUT....I think Jonathon Taylor Thomas is GORGEOUS!

Titanic is my favorite movie and I love Leonardo DiCaprio

.....I better stop there... :teeth:

I wear That's So Raven perfume. Forget the $82 bottle of Burberry my husband gave me, give me my $6 bottle of cotton candy smelling tweeny perfume. ;)

Ok here goes... I watch Spongebob when the kids are in school. mute it if someone calls me. I love love love the "Band Geeks" episode!

I listen to Rush Limbaugh every day at noon and I think he's hysterical. When he talks about how great he thinks he is, I just laugh and laugh.

I love the sound of a banjo and bag pipes. (Not at the same time!!)

I think because of FH I am becomming a Republican. (If my Dad found out I think he would look at me different.)

I am not ashamed of any of these things. I just needed to tell someone...
Thanks for listening.

As for the 90210 and Saved by the Bell watchers: If I am flipping around the channels and either one of those shows is on I stop and watch. I love those both of them!! (I also hated Dylan and Kelly together.)

7th Heaven. My friends and family all think it's a stupid show but there I was during the series finale getting all teary eyed :p

Oh, and three words: The Beach Boys. I looooooooove them but no one else I know likes them. I take them with me on all my road trips and vacations. If you're driving along and you see a college aged girl in a black honda accord with the windows down blaring "Don't Worry Baby"...that's me

I love this stuff! I love it!

My secret shames:
1) My total love and fixation with Reality Television. Yes, I even watched Unanimous. Can't say I liked it, but I did watch it.

2) I have been to 9 Hanson concerts and have paid $300 a seat to sit front and center. I still love them. No, they aren't the teeny boopers any more. Their music has really evolved and they are some of the most peer-respected independent artists.

3) As much as I loved our wedding and planning it, I was so happy when it was finished. I wish we'd done one of the Intimate ceremonies and not had to worry about the huge deal. It's exhausting thinking about it...

4) I love cajun and zydeco music. Been brought up on it and have a huge crush on one of the artists....

I can totally see the TF perusing this thread! :rotfl:

HAHA! So totally DH! He has all the not-so-legally-obtained recordings from when they were available on Napster. It's like 10 CDs or something crazy! He was disappointed when we looked it up on iTunes and couldn't find any. His favorite.... the monorails.....

Hey, don't be ashamed of that! I love Hanson. They put on a killer live show. I've loved them since I was 11 and I'm 20 now. They're a great band with a whole lot of talent and passion :thumbsup2
