Once I can figure out the download thing, I was going to make use a bunch of different ones. But if I only select one, I think I will go with Fantasmic!

How do I customize the ringtones to my handset?
Most handsets come with a number of default selections of ringtones. Some customers prefer to customize their handset with popular music, custom ringtones, and other sounds through Get It Now. Downloading and saving custom ringtones is a three-step process:
1. Download the appropriate credit from the Get It Now application. For an updated list of what ringtone applications are available for download on your handset, visit www.verizonwireless.com/getitnow.

2. Find and select the desired tone.

3. Save the new tone as the ringer on the handset.

Below are specific instructions on how to download custom ringtones on our most popular handsets. Please note the actual steps may vary from handset to handset, but the basic process is the same.

1. Access the Get It Now shopping menu on the handset.

2. Select Get Tones.

3. Select the desired ringtone application.

4. Select the desired pricing option.

5. When finished downloading the chosen credits or uses, you will receive the message "App installed successfully. Would you like to run it now?" Select Yes.

6. You are now able to search through the application to locate the specific tone you wish to download. After selecting the desired tone, it will be downloaded to the handset and saved to the local memory on the handset.

7. Access the appropriate menu on the handset to change the ringer and select the downloaded ringtone as the default ringer.

I just tried that it says $1.99 one use. Does that mean I'm only allowed to use that ringtone once? I'm cellphone impaired!

I alternate mine between "Funky Town" and the "SWAT Theme". I have an older Nokia phone - so my ringtone options are limited. My DS has AC/DC on his - which I love - I should just switch him phones.

No, it means you can only download one tone/wallpaper to your phone. Once it's on your phone, you can use it as much as you want (set that ringtone for many different people or use that wallpaper for different screens)

The Theme from The Man From U.N.C.L.E.

Haven't heard it on another phone yet!

Since we have 4 similar phones (actually identical) at our house, I purchased a data cable and some software, so I can download any MIDI file into our phones. My phone plays "We Are Family" whenever my wife or kids call me. Otherwise it's the theme from the very first Mario videogame. I tried downloading the King of the Hill theme, but it wasn't loud enough and I missed a couple of calls.
