As in, what do you use?

Liquid or powder detergent, and what brand, liquid fabric softener, dryer sheets, or neither, bleach or no, and anything else?

Mine:
All Free and Clear, Liquid.
Snuggle Fabric Softener...Sunkissed Breeze
Sometimes a scoop of OxyClean.
Works well...doesn't smell too overpowering.
Oh...bleach only on the whites if they need it.

Well, I do laundry when either we run out of things to wear, or I can't see my floor through the piles. I use Tide powder, which I put in with the water before I put my clothes in, and Snuggle laundry softener.

I do laundry daily. Even though we're only a family of 4, it seems like I have twice that amount when I see the laundry baskets!

I use Liquid Tide and Downy Lavender and Vanilla scented fabric softener.

Bleach only on loads of whites.

Tide or Purex depending on how many stains the clothes has for the older kids' clothes and Soapworks I buy from Trader Joe's for my 2yo and baby's clothes

vinegar rinse, usually no dryer sheets

We are a family of 7 so at least 3 loads daily... :crazy2:

Liquid Gain
I'm addicted to dryer sheets. any sheets. I love em all.
snuggle fabric softener
no bleach. I dont' like to use bleach.

1) Fill up clothes basket
2) Keep stuffing it until it's overflowing
3) Take a pair of socks out of hamper when there are none clean
4) Ignore it for at least one day past sock incident, if possible
5) Listen to husband complain that he has no clean underwear
6) Think about telling him to go the sock route, but think twice about it
7) Give in and start the clothes division process
8) Begin wash with whatever detergent I found on sale
9) Stretch the heck out of my velour sweatpant legs and hang to air dry
10) Stick the rest in the dryer with whatever dryer sheet is on sale
11) Ignore the dryer going off
12) Re-Dry to get out the wrinkles
13) Fold clothes and place in piles on bed
14) Move the piles to the chair in the sitting area and go to bed
14) Move back to the bed the next morning - do this a few more times
15) Cave in and put clothes away
16) Proceed to step #3 and start all over again
17) Remember that it's been awhile since you cleaned out the lint filter (DH is a firefighter - he'd kill me if I forgot that one!)

Liquid Arm & Hammer "Free" (no dyes, fragrances)
Clorox Bleach (1/2 cup with each load of whites)
Shout Spray (prestain on spots/spills/stains)
Oxiclean (~5 scoops per load for pre-soak of stained clothes overnight -- messy kids!)
Bounce "Free" Dryer Sheets

I have the laundry sorter with three different colored laundry bags. Everyone sorts their own laundry as they put it in the bags (white for whites, light green for lights, dark blue for darks). When a bag is full, it's time to do laundry.

I use Tide liquid only, I HATE powder and Downy liquid softener. I do laundry only when needed...I think I would kill myself if I had to do 3 loads a day!! I can't imagine wasting so much time just doing laundry every day. I toss a load in the washer when I leave for work, come home at lunch time for a quick lunch and move them to the dryer and then after work run the dryer a few minutes to get wrinkles out and fold before running to after school activities. Even doing that I only wash a couple times a week and never more than one load in any day. I don't ever use bleach as I don't do a seperate load for whites or colors, everything in at once especially since the only white things we own are a couple pairs of my daughter socks, otherwise everything, even towels are not white.

I don't have one. DH handles it all. I lucked out, he really enjoys it.

:thumbsup2 ::yes::

although I'm not sure he enjoys it...

I feel like it's my dirty little secret but I don't use fabric softer or softner sheets. I just never saw the point of them.

He enjoys what he gets for doing it. I give the Xbox controllers back. :rotfl:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

my DH does our laundry too...and while I'm not sure he enjoys it, he does reap the benefits! ;)

Tide Free
Clorox 2
Downy softner (I alternate between the lavender & the jasmine scents)
Color Catcher sheet (can't remember the brand offhand, but these sheets work I haven't had to sort laundry by colors in ages.)
Bounce Free

I'll wash & dry, but DH folds our laundry & the kids fold their own. :)
