Hiya

I am writing up a shopping list for Florida (I have been reading the shopping part of a brits guide 2006, and Im Florida dreaming) and I was thinking what my must have are, what I have to buy when I go

What are your must have, or what shops do you just love to visit?

My must haves this year are

Dept 56 Halloween town houses (from my b day money)
Yankee Candles
Sketchers
Bratz
Disney Christmas mug which is a tradition, and I have one for every trip I have made.
Disney Decoration for the tree

I absolutely love going into toys r us and its one of my first shopping stops

like the tag says Im a shopaholic

We're some of the few who don't bother with much shopping, but I do like to buy some "good" Christmas decorations. Last year I got some nice things to hang on all my downstairs doors. We still manage to spend lot on these few things though!!! :rotfl:

I actually hate shopping so won't be breaking a habit of a lifetime by going whilst on holiday, however eldest daughter is going to Mall at Mallenium (that's spelt wrong!). Tiffanys & Co are putting to one side for her a necklace and braclet, saving of about £90 on English prices. All youngest daughter wants is a new TT t-shirt. :thumbsup2

Oh this is a tough one lol, mine are:

Clinique
Disney Christmas baubble
I-pod
Paracetomol tablets (DH :firefight pops them like sweets)
Lingerie from Victorias secrets

hhhmmm i think thats all :lmao:

Sometimes I think we're single-handedly keeping the US going with the amount of money my other half spends at the Malls, the following will be anticipating our arrival next year with great excitement:-

Ralph Lauren & Lacoste outlets, any stockists of Jack Daniels and Jim Beam, Disney Christmas merchandise and Vans, Emerica and Etnies.

:cheer2: Woohoo, I love shopping, but mainly for other people. When I'm buying for me I usually get

A couple of Disney T-Shirts
Disney Photo Album (with the year on)
Disney Photo Frame
Disney Christmas Ornament (of course !!)
and I always get my photos developed at Wal-Mart

Mandy :)

*********** branded clothes - it can be a quarter of the price here in the UK

Clothes for my DDs from Target & WalMart

DVDs & CDs (if they are cheaper than here ;) ) or if they can't be bought here

I'm sure there are lots more but those sprung to mind!

I absolutely hate shopping (just spent a weekend in Manchester, where DH was working, and bought............ a newspaper! :lmao: )

We came home with two cases full of toys for DH (men! ;) ) and DD last year and I bought just a t-shirt :rolleyes1 BUT, this time I'm going to try and buy something for me:

Yankee candles
Christmas and Halloween decorations
A couple of DS games for Eve as I've just seen that some of them are a third of the UK price in Walmart and Target

What's to bet I end up buying nothing..........? :rotfl2:

I love the Mall at Millenia - the whole experience, not just the shopping. We enjoy eating at the restaurants there - Cheesecake Factory, McCormick and Schmick's, PF Chang's Chinese Bistro, Brio Tuscan Grill, plus some cocktails at Blue Martini. A new tradition is for the women to shop and meet the men at the bar at the Cheesecake Factory :thumbsup2 .

I love the Sanrio store there - so cute! I've patronised Jimmy Choo, Tiffany & Co, Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus, the Sony Store, the Apple Store, Louis Vuitton, Victoria's Secret, Gap, Banana Republic, Lucky, MAC, Oilily, Williams-Sonoma and, our favourite, Tommy Bahama.

I also can't contemplate a trip to Orlando without visiting the Florida Mall. I love the newer annexe - Nordstrom in particular.

I love the malls but generally prefer just to window shop. I normally buy:

Sketchers
A few items of branded clothing (got a GAP denim jacket for about £8 after several discounts last year!)
Papercrafting stuff
Tons of Disney stuff, I always get t-shirts/photo frames and pins. We go to the outlet stores at Belz and spend an absolute fortune.

i love shopping but the things i have to bring back are skechers and tee shirts i have loads of Disney ones. My DH and DD must haves are cd's and dvd's.

top of my list is a christmas decoration with the year engraved/painted on
some nice photo frames
scrapbooking items
always seem to come away with a couple of baseball hats!!!
t-shirts for dd
DF usually gets a watch!
pins
have not visited any malls or outlets yet hoping to fit that in this year!!
Is Millenium mall near by & easy to get to (we dont drive over there)

ooh forget to mention the cuddly toy :)

Oh yes the big, massive, giant sized cuddly Minnie which when you get home youve got nowhere to put....ends up in the spare bedroom looking all lonely :rotfl:

and then DD says she wants the Mickey to go with her....."WHAT FOR????"

Tracey - the cuddly toy is a must have in any Florida trip for us too :teeth:

Mall of Millenia is just off I4 at exit 78. I think it is nearer to Universal Orlando than WDW but I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong :)

I forgot about the halloween decs, there should be loads around when i go

I also love bath and body, nd the gap for clothes or my nieces,

my list of things are

christmas dec (with date)
kids will always have baseball caps
youngest ds likes to buy a plush
magnets and pins
and i also love the millenia mall i'm going for my tiffany chain next time(got the bracelet last time)and my eldest likes to go to the lacoste shop :)

nurse mates clogs from uniform city near sweet tomatous on colonial drive (state rd 50} blissfully comfortable :cool1:

I don't go shopping when we're in Orlando, but I do some real power shopping when i'm back home visiting the family in suburban Detroit.

I don't really have shopping must haves, but rather have stores that i have to hit and since they're all also in Orlando here goes: Saks Fifth Avenue (for my clothes in salon Z), Nordstroms (for all of us, mostly shoes for difficult sizes), Steve and Barry's, Hot Topics, Target, K-Mart, Best Buy, Circuit City, Costco, Borders Books, Barnes and Noble, Bed Bath and Beyond, Casual Male (for tall man clothes), etc.

The shopping must haves are extra long twin sheets, king sheets, towels, DVDs, Books (several suitcases full of these), electronics, clothes (dressy, casual, trendy, etc.), lots of shoes (dress, casual, sports, etc.)

One thing we do buy in Orlando, souvenirs from WDW. Oh and there's a great musical instuments store on I drive close to sweet tomatoes that we also have to visit. My daughter bought some great stuff there this year.

The list of must haves isn't very long, but somehow we manage to come to the US with 3 suitcases and go back with at least 8 fully loaded suitcases (sometimes more)....

and one more thing....i always put in a huge order with Lands End when we first arrive in the US, with delivery to DH's office in the US. It's usually quite a lot of stuff (since Lands End has tall man clothes as well .....all of DH's casual clothes come from lands end.....and i buy them for him in mass quantities, since there are no clothes at all in his size where we live.....he's just too tall).

Oooh shopping, I do like to shop , we normally buy:

Cuddly Toys
Vans Trainers for Vicki
Pins and Magnets
Clinique Aromatics Elixiar Perfume for me. (so cheap over there)
Tshirts from Planet Hollywood.
