What's your favorite?

Everything sounds so good!!! I haven't started baking cookies yet. I'm planning to make peanut butter with the Hershey kiss on top, spritz cookies from the Wilton press, and maybe sugar cut-out cookies.

But in case I don't get around to it, can everyone just send me some that they already baked? Pretty please...:flower3:

I like the kinds that my family won't eat so I don't usually make them. I love jam thumbprints, shortbread, lemon bars, and fudge. I am making lemon bars & shortbread this year and sending some with DH to work so I don't eat the whole pan.

The family will eat fudge but I still haven't found a recipe that I love. I will eat the marshmellow/choc chip recipe but it's not my favorite.

I've gained 3 lbs just reading about all mentioned so far. I love chocolate coconut rolled oats snowballs!

Not cookies but this time of year we eat a lot of Krumkake and rosettes. We buy them though, I've never tried to make them. Someday I'll give it a shot.

Just made the lemon "cool whip" cookies for the first time (using a box of cake mix) and added fresh lemon juice to give it some tang. I must say they went fastest out of all the kinds we made Friday.

Try this:
1 can sweetened condensed milk (NOT evaporated milk)
2 heaping cups high quality chocolate chips (I mix semi-sweet and milk chocolate)
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
dash salt
Melt together over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth & shiny. Pour onto greased pan or plate; refrigerate until firm.

Honestly, I'm a little embarrassed even making this because it seems so "fake" but people totally LOVE it. No point even bothering with boiling sugar, melting in marshmallows and beating until your arm falls off - this is better; trust me! ;)

OP, your baking stamina is impressive!!! It must take you days to bake all those cookies

I won't lie, it does. But I really love it. Rainbow cookies are a two day process. Yesterday I knocked out four types, mostly "drop" cookies. (M&M cookies, a white choc. Chip cranberry, the peanut butter blossoms, stained glass windows) I was in the kitchen for about 4 hours after all was said and done. I have ONE last cookie to go. My son's favorite. It's a peppermint cookie that is made using a boxed cake mix as the base. I got the recipe from the CakeMix Doctor. And I bought Rolos with the intention of experimenting with a pretzel cookie base. I'll have to see how those work out. :goodvibes

Spritz used to be my favorite. I can't have gluten anymore and haven't had anyone try spritz with GF flour.
