Going in May and can't wait to experience WDW's hidden (or not so hidden) gems. The following are my fave walks, I would love to hear yours.

1) From SSR to OKW
2) From SSR to DTD
3) BWV to Studios
4) BWV to BWV (around the lake)

Thanks

I agree with all of these. :thumbsup2

I also enjoy the stroll from CR to MK. I have a brick along the way and we have a devil of a time finding it! It's our own personal scavenger hunt every trip. :goodvibes

I also agree with the above and would add that the walk from the WL to the campground and around the campgroud is a great walk. :goodvibes

:thumbsup2 Agreed - this is my favorite also.

Other favorites:
A) the loop around the water feature at Caribbean Beach Resort

B) the loop through/around the Coronado Springs Resort (I really enjoy the landscaping at the far back section of the property. Likely as it is western themed and seems like stuff I might consider doing at home.)

C) the walk from Epcot International Gateway, around the water feature past BCV/Yacht Club, crossing over the bridge between Dolphin/Swan/BWV, along the canal to Hollywood Studios and reverse.

I don't walk very well, but I love to bike ride from VWL to FW. We've often seen deer along the way.

The Boardwalk area, around the lake is fine but crowded. A few years ago they had yoga on the beach of BCV at 7AM, well, yes, if you're walking around then, it's just perfect!:goodvibes

Walked 'em all earlier this week! Out of these four, I think I enjoy the SSR to OKW route the most.

Jogging and walking are two different things, but in case you all do not know, the front desk CM's have jogging trail/route maps available for handout.

From the monorail last week I noticed an interesting walking trail. It originated from the BLT walkway to the MK path. It continued past the MK, past the monorail station and continued towards GF. About 3/4 way to GF it deadened near a canal off the 7 seas lagoon. At the end of the path were benches to sit. There were lantern style lamp posts along the way. Check it out. Its a very scenic walk. I will do it on my next trip home.

My favorite walk has to be the one from the Boardwalk/Beach Club area, towards Epcot. You can have a nice conversation while viewing your destination, right over the horizon of the bridge.

Thank you for the info on the different walkways. We have been members since 1992 and have walked about half of the ones mentioned. Next trip we will have to try some of the ones mentioned here. Also did not know you could get info from the CM's.

This is one of my favorite strolls-we call it the "Path to Nowhere". Great spot for taking pictures of BLT.

We like the Board walk when we stay at the BWV we walk the board walk and stop at the bakery then walk to Epcot.

Oh right, I forgot about that. I like that area. I'll add that to our must do list.

In our last trip, Pre DVC Days, DW and I arrived at POFQ about 2 hours before my Sister and Mom were due to land at the airport, we walked all around POFQ, and then took a great walk over to POR, we really enjoyed that time, the Florida Weather (Way nicer than Kansas City in March) and the anticipation was building for my wife's first visit to a Park!

We love the walk to and from Epcot (mainly to Epcot) from Boardwalk.

We love to make the loop around Crescent lake going all the way around BW, Y&BC, and S&D.

We really love walking around POFQ and POR, and between the two.

Live a previous poster said, I don't get around very well, and Disney wears me out, big time!!

So frankly....any walk at the beginning of the trip is so much nicer and lovely than any walk at the end of our trip. I think that is why I love walking around Riverside so much. We tend to stay there the night before we start our trip. My feet are fresh and I enjoy it.

With that said...any walk at the beginning of the day is so much nicer than any walk at the end of the day.

This leads to me my least favorite activity: waiting a long time for a bus at EP or MK at the end of a very long day in a very long week.
