well there are several I like...
one is the Autumn Flowering Cherry
another one is the Chinese Dogwood..& washington Hawthorne tree
these are all flowering trees

Pines, I love the casacading pine

and my most favorite is the "walking stick tree"
it is an awsome looking tree for Halloween!

The Magnolia trees that I walk out of OKW and can instantly smell! They won't grow here (too cold) so for local trees, I would say.....Red Maple.

I LOVE Magnolia trees, because they stay green year round and have beautiful blooms!

Also I like dogwood when they flower in the spring.

My favorite tree is the Palm tree. I love them. I love magnolias too.It was whilst at POR that I really noticed Magnolias and how lovely they are. I planted one in my garden last summer. Its only 4ft at the moment.

love apple trees. they smel sooo good when in bloom, will be adding three or four to our yard this year along with a few peach trees and another red plum. also love cedar trees, al;ready have 2 in yard, and have two i am babying over the winter in pots to add this spring.(plus cedar is gorgeous to work with )

I love palm tree but we dont have them here in Canada. I guess they could not survive the snow storms like the one we are currently getting.
