What's your favorite thing to do in "The World?"

Hang out at Fort Wilderness. We love the campground.

I have two favorites! My first is walking around the World Showcase. It's my favorite part of Disney World, it's really gorgeous back there. I know it's not "real culture", but until I can get out there to these actual countries it'll have to do! I love meeting and talking to the CMs from around the world, getting snacks from the counter service restaurants, shopping and buying one souvenir from each country, seeing the shows and attractions, and just taking in the atmosphere. I love it!

My second favorite is spending time at the Polynesian, my absolute favorite resort. I love to walk around and explore the resort before hanging out and relaxing by the fountain and garden in the lobby, just listening to the water and smelling the coconut and tropical flowers. Then we usually go for dinner at the Kona Cafe, one of my favorite Disney restaurants!, before sitting in the upstairs lounge and listening to the performers play the guitar and sing classes Jimmy Buffett and Eagles songs. Then we head out to the beach and pull up some lounge chairs and settle in for the night, watching the small waves crash on the beach and listening to the soft caribbean music before watching the Electric Water Pageant and Wishes! Now THAT'S magic!!

Oh yeah, this!

I love World Showcase. I start at Mexico with a margarita. Then some Miso Soup from Japan. Pastries at France and Cheddar Cheese soup from Canada. Love, love, love the fireworks!

My daughter and I love the seafood bisque/chowder at Kona Cafe. I really enjoy spending time at the Polynesian. It is one of my favorite resorts.

When I get off the plane in Orlando, its like a WOW I am here! No work, no worries just magic ahead!!!:cloud9:

1. On our first day, be at MK in time to see the train arrive with Mickey and the Gang to sing the Welcome song, then walk onto Main Street and just stand for a minute looking at the castle and realizing that I'm really here.

2. Linger in Epcot for a while after Illuminations, walk along the lake holding hands with DH. The light of the torches and the music are so romantic. Then a leisurely walk back to the Beach Club.

3. Relax in the pool or in the lounge at the Yacht/Beach club and talk with other happy vacationers. We've met so many nice people there.

4. Ride Kali River Rapids over and over getting drenched every time. No sissy ponchos for us!

I never knew that :mickeyjum "Mickey and his Gang" arrive at the opening of MK each morning ....we've been to WDW many times but did not know this . This trip we WILL get up early to see the opening of MK ! Nice to hear of something new !!!!:thumbsup2

For me it's getting on the bus from our resort to the MK. We then catch the boat to WL for our arrival dinner at WCC. It's that boat ride that makes me feel all mushy and happy. I just love it! :goodvibes

Walking around World Showcase with my husband around dusk time after getting a margarita in Mexico. Suns going down, lights coming on.

I have 2 favourite feelings-sorry but i couldn't pick one over the other:goodvibes

My first is getting into MK at opening, walking to splash mountain crowd free and riding splash in the early morning haze.I love the view of the castle from the very top when the air is still misty.

My second favourite is sitting on the pavement near the liberty bell waiting for the first spectro of the night. It is much darker at that side of the park without as many shop lights so the effect is more magical and much less crowded.I always feel like my heart is going to bust when i hear the music and see the bobble heads coming closer!!Then we head up to main st and watch the second spectro from there-not that we are obsessed or anything!!!:rotfl2:

I have a couple:

- visiting France in Epcot and watching the movie and then getting a pastry

- grabbing a bench/chair anywhere in a high traffic area @ WDW and "people watch"...oh the sights you will see...

- I agree with the previous poster..I love to ride the boats!!

It's very Happy I'll tell you that, Love the Casey Jr. Song. :thumbsup2
