What's your favorite super cheap meal?

One of my favorite meals on the cheap is comfort food for me, Creamed Tuna and Peas over Toast, but I know it sounds gross to some so skip it if you want I use the Hillbilly Housewife recipe (not sure if I am allowed to link to it or not but you could just Google search it)

Actually, if you haven't checked out the Hillbilly housewife website before- she has great, fugal meals!

My Mom used to make creamed tuna with peas on toast all the time. I haven't ever had it since I moved out of her house, but now that you mention it, I think I'm going to have to make it in the next few days.

There have been some really great ideas on this thread. I'm going to try making the red beans and rice...I love that but haven't had it since my brother and his wife got divorced (she was the one who always made it).
