What's Your Favorite Disney song and Why?

I've been syncing Disney songs on my daughters' Disney mix_sticks all afternoon, and while having a ton of fun listening through as they ripped and loaded, started thinking...well, what's my favorite, and why? Now, to be honest, I am not sure I could pin down an absolute favorite! I got to a top three (I think)...

...When you wish upon a star

...A Dream is a wish your heart makes

and

...Once upon a dream

If pressed (you are on a desert island and get to listen to only one song for the rest of your life!), it would need to be When you wish upon a star, as it is so full of hope, and makes a day just a bit brighter.

But I am really curious about what the group thinks. What's your favorite, and why?

From Movies:
Part of Your World - I think it is beautiful and sang it to my babies as they fell asleep.

Zip-a-Dee-Do-Da - for personal reasons near and dear to me, I love it.

From the Parks:
I like - geez, it's my favorite and I'm not sure of the exact title - "There's a great, big, beautiful tomorrow" from Carousel of Progress.

The entrance music at Epcot blows me away and always makes me feel like I'm entering a very special place.

And I really loved the old Tiki Room song and am mad, mad, mad that it is gone.

If I had to pick only one, I think it would be Remember The Magic. It just brings me back to the parks and to a time I was a cast member.

Next would be When You Wish Upon A Star, it just says Disney...magic to me.


From the parks, Figments Imagination and American Dream (I think that's the name) from the World Showcase's America.

So many great songs, hard to pick.

Its a tie between "So this is love", and "A dream is a wish your heart makes". Both from my favorite fairy tale.

Movies: I'll make a man out of you or Poor unfortunate Souls
Parks: My trip is never complete w/o hearing the Muzak version of Ghost Riders n teh Sky in Fronteirland, but Fantasmic! has an astounding soundtrack as well!

Part of Your World is my most favourite. I always get chills when I hear it sung at the Ariel show in MGM. I also like the parade march one from Aladdin, You Can Fly, and Once Upon A Dream.

I immediately thought Wishes if it was from the park. From a soundtrack it might be How Do You Do? from Song of the South - always puts me in a better place and reminds me of my DS.

Impossible to pick just one...but my current favorite I've been singing lately is Be Our Guest from Beauty and the Beast. Also I love Wishes. I have the CD and listen to it all the time. Oh and Circle of Life from the Lion King. I LOVE that one too!

It's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow ...gives hope for the future..and it means WDW to me especially because I remember it so clearly from the first time I was a child at WDW in 1977

Lets see, where to start . . .

My favorite would probably be Two Worlds from Tarzan, but I really like You'll Be In My Heart from Tarzan also.

Of course theres Can You Feel The Love Tonight from the Lion King.

And also the theme song to Beauty and the Beast.

Oh!! and who can forget I'll Make A Man Out Of You from Mulan?!?

Okay, I admit it, I can't decide which is my favorite Disney song. And whats bad is the above list doesn't even touch whats heard in the parks!!

There's so many that I like. I love You Can Fly as it's just a very catchy tune. I also like Hawiiaan (sp) Roller Coaster from Lilo and Stitch. The original Tiki Room song is also great!! I could go on and on...

I think it is just called Soarin, I have the WDW cd, and that's what it is listed as on there.
