Absolute hands down favorite. The one that gets you everytime, no matter if your counting points, or just had a seven course meal and couldn't take another bite.
When you see it, all bets are off and you gotta have some!
A friend of mine who is a caterer makes a dessert that I've renamed "Heaven in a Bowl." It's cake, pudding, fudge and/or caramel, and Cool Whip. I had her make it instead of a wedding cake when DH and I renewed our vows last summer and everybody at the party just wolfed it down and demanded the recipe.
Cheesecake with cherries on top - hands down.... Sometimes I make a cheesecake and send it into my dh's work, now I have his co-workers calling me on the phone to ask when I'm sending in another cheesecake.... I like to make them and send them off to work with him so it's not in my refridgerator looking at me every time I open the door....
This one restaurant I go to makes a warm, flourless chocoloate waffle. It has some cherries in it, is drizzled with hot fudge sauce, and it topped with homemade cinammon ice cream and homemade whipped cream.
Darn--I thought I had it on this computer but it must be on the one at home. I'll try to put it on here tonight although you might all beat me for getting you started on it.
I like chocolate cake, too, Mal. My favorite is a buttermilk sheet cake my grandma used to make. I make it and hide it in the freezer and eat it all myself. It's SO good frozen.
Once again, we are separated at birth. I thought I was the only one who liked frozen cake. Everyone (except my mom, who taught me it) thinks I am way weird when I do that.
They are so easy to make, too. The problem is that my husband hates it, so if I made one, I would end up eating the whole thing. That wouldn't be good.
I love chocolate malts . Unless I'm too darn cold already , if chocolate malts are on the menu I must have one. And I make them at home all the time, too .

And no one ever thinks to look for it in the freezer! My birthday is at the end of June so my Grandma would make my favorite cake and put it in the freezer so it wouldn't all melt. And now I love it that way.
