Napa Rose Open Date?

@LKing thank you! not what i expected the main dining and lounge menus to be
Me neither. First, I can't tell what half of these items are or what they will look like on a plate. They are called small bites so I assume they are very small.

We're going to cancel our reservation this week. I'm sure someone else will enjoy it more than we would.

@LKing i was hoping theyd move to more their pre covid menu, we enjoyed the options more then compared to the latest options. i agree some of the things sound good then i see the picture and im not sure anymore 😂 we will be waiting to return to napa rose, i cancelled my reservation as well

Small bites, big flavors… but hey, not everyone enjoys culinary adventures.

Enjoy the extra space on your calendar!

Actually, from the photos on the Disney Parks Blog, the lounge items are bigger than I expected. E.g. the Laughing Tiger salad has 6-7 pieces of beef, and the Beef Tartare comes three on a plate.

Now, whether those are worth $30-$40 to you is another matter...

I was so looking forward to going when it opened but I’m not excited at all by the menus at the lounge or the restaurant. I’m surprised at how much has shellfish in it on the regular menu. (I have an allergy and I know they will work with that, but most of it needs to be changed and who knows what the substitutes are). For that much money, I think we will skip and save the cash. It does look like a beautiful remodel though! I love the addition of outdoor seating as well

It looks like the princess breakfast is still going to be in the Trillium Room. https://disneyland.disney.go.com/di...n-hotel/disney-princess-breakfast-adventures/

Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures continues to be temporarily held in the Trillium Room at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. It will return to Napa Rose at a later date. Check back here for the most updated information.
Yes, unfortunately I learned this detail when Napa Rose called me on Thursday to confirm my Princess Breakfast reservation for Friday. I happened to ask them if it would be in the renovated Napa Rose and they said no- it's still in the ballroom until further notice. I asked to cancel which they were able to do. I'm not paying that big money without the Napa Rose experience!

My husband and I just returned from a 4-night stay at the GCH (Tues-Sat). We stayed in a room nearby the Napa Rose elevators, so we saw security guards parked out there the whole time. Napa Rose had various soft launches or events until Friday's big opening for dinner service. One day there was a backdrop with Club 33 logos and the Napa Rose logo, so we think Club 33 folks got an early preview of the new restaurant. We also saw folks walking away at night- sometimes as late as 11pm- all dressed up and with bags from Napa Rose with them.

I'm glad they called you and that you were able to cancel.

Thanks. We had made reservations for a friend's birthday this week. We decided to go to the parks during the day and get together with additional friends for dinner outside of the parks. We're in the parks often enough that we can try it in the future if we decide we want to.

We stopped in tonight and tried the Laughing Tiger— it would be an extremely hearty appetizer or a modest size (but rich in flavor and substance) entree. It was actually heavier than we wanted as we had been indulging in Lunar New Year food booths.

When they put the incredible Mushroom bisque in front of us my husband mentioned he can’t handle lactose— I cheerfully volunteered to consume both (so good!) and then they returned with a vegan soup (I think it was some sort of vegetable with citrus?) that he really enjoyed. The cocktail menu looked delightful and my husband enjoyed the Ojai Campfire.
