Wow, My dd is doing 15 hours and is working 3 days a week (20 hours) and the poor kid is exhausted. She's a freshman so it's been quite a shock.

Good for you.

Congrats on the wedding !

Thanks!

Tell your dd to hang in there...my freshman year was very very hectic! Somehow it all falls into place and you make it work. And if for some reason it doesnt all work out, you fall down, get back up and try again. I learned alot about myself my freshman year. After being a 4.0 honors program high school student, I failed a class my first year. It sucked, I cried, but i learned from it and havent gotten anything lower than a B since.

My theory is that college is meant to test you, it helps to sculpt you into the person you will be. It's by no means easy, but somehow you get through it alive.

Thank You
I will share that with her. She's always been a good student. But life is about falling down, dusting yourself off and starting again. Just like you said.

Good Luck to you

I'm considering transferring to Florida State or Embry Riddle(Daytona Beach) at the end of this semester.

Are you interested in studying to be a pilot Hollister? I went to an aviation school (Daniel Webster College in NH) last year, and if you want to be a pilot I'd suggest getting your FAA medical ASAP so that there aren't any complications (I failed my colorblindness test like a week before school started last year and had to do a last minute change of major) also, to everyone: don't ever take State and Local Govt. if you can avoid it, it has got to be THE most boring course I've ever taken.
